there was nothing in that write up to warrant such a statement.

After calling me uncultured, I even toned down my words. I know my usual customers if I want to be rude or uncultured and you are not one of them.

Anyway, apology accepted and sorry if I said anything to offend you as well

You have no evidence yet you think he was called to play RB? how come he never played RB nor RWB once for us throughout his callup?

Most people here knows he was called up cos of the LB roll he played in Hull, NOTHING ELSE.

Within weeks of playing in the Championship he was voted in the team of the week as the best RB in the championship.

It was about the same time he was being called to the SE.

It was much much later he played LB for Hull and also right-sided midfield.

So I think your wrong.

we will have a lot of goals in this match , the best way to play them is to outscore them ... our guys need to be prolific .. and give them a dirty fight ... i know its going to be a do or die affair

He wasn't called to the super eagles to play RB. That is the gospel truth. He was called to try out the LB role which he couldnt hold down for the few times he was tried there. So Idowu replaced him. Shehu and Ebuehi have always been tipped to hold down the RB position.

I don't even know why we are on this when it doesnt even add to our winning come tuesday.

Wow.
With a discipline and compact team we can beat them.
When they were at their best last world cup we played 3-2.
It's going to be a tough test,we gonna trump this.
Rohr must get the tactics right.

Though I want to see Etebo Ndidi and Mikel in the midfield;
However I will yet like anything that will make Macherano encounter Iwobi againgrin

In this formation, I will make Moses my LWB, while Ebuehi takes the RWB position.

I would play Ndidi and Mikel together and have Etebo or Iwobi in front of them.

Guys watch out for Mercado, that guy go dash us some goals via freekick, poor pace, poor marking or penalty.

His is Indian and he has their football sense

Yes we can.

All we need to do is to replace Idowu with Ebuehi, keep our shape and discipline, play our own game and replicate the second half we had versus Iceland

Dem go see pepper

You see it as negativity. But I’m just trying to prepare your minds. If the opposite happens, trust me I would even be happier than most you.

Sir calm down. Don’t let it scare you. Life will go on and hopefully we would come stronger.

Icon4s:

Joebie, I don't understand you at all.

So that you will come here and say I told you? That what? E pass ''that Argentina will beat Nigeria''?

Even if they beat us will FIFA award you any trophy? I mean what do you stand to gain?

You are one of the well respected patriots on this thread, I dont just understand what bug bit you recently.

This your negativity is scary honestly.

No I won’t gain anything from that. I have already had my say pages back before the post in question. I’m concerned for Senegal as well.

Enough with your negativity jor.. You are looking to say 'i told you so'...

I’m sure u want us to cross it so badly as much as I do.
somehow:
Senegal screwed themselves over by drawing with Japan. they had that game to win but their GK and the defenders screwed everything up. No hope for any African country making it to the round of 16 except if Poland beat Japan and if we cross the highsea called argentina

diadem10:

Wow. Even before Musa scored, he was our best attacker in the 1st half, even with the little touches he had.

The fact is the team didn't really look like creating any chances till Ighalo came on. Musa's goals were individually fashioned by him.

Anyway, as long as the coach tells Nacho to improve his telepathy with Musa and also offer up threat upfront, I'm okay with him but without this, I won't buy that stupid activity he dey form on the pitch.
When Ighalo came on,was when Iceland was surrendering already.
I yet prefer Ighalo to come on,in the second half against Argentina rather than start.

Let’s be balanced. He may have been called because of our problems at LB. But that doesn’t stop him from putting in a fight in other roles. Personally, I would say timing did not favor him.
