This must be a joke, the north have the highest number of public school, yet they are the one fighting Western education, they are the one setting Nigeria backward, they have the highest number of illiteracy in the country, so who is deceiving who?

Like people use to say " Nigeria is a wow shocked"

Except one has not been to the north he is led to believe these figures being branded as being the true state of affairs. Most of the so-called public schools only exit on papers.

They only do so in order to increase their stakes in the sharing formula of the nations cake.

When does an average Muslim had time to attend public schools when the Alfa is they with his long whip
you hit the point.

Another stupid lies. What qualifies as a primary school? Why does the north have to lie about every statistics? Oh, to aid their lion share from the national cake.

These are the number of primary school Teachers Primary school students

Taaaaah.... If I hear

Most of these 'schools' counted for the North only exist under Dogonyaro trees!

Don't let statistics from government fool you.

All these numbers are just for collecting allocations from Primary Education Board.

When the Northern elites starts educating their scorge of illiterate children, the whole world will know.

Your assertion isn't true sir. I've lived in Sokoto for more than five years and I can authoritatively tell you that there are at least three public schools here for every one public school in Kabba, Kogi state where I grew up. I don't know of anywhere else though.

Something is strange here......The two most Academically developed Regions (SW and SE) have the least number of primary schools! how come

because these two zones have more private schools!
They don't rely so much on public schools.

Because the southerners are stupid enough to allow them. Do you think they can stand a united south? Divide and conquer is their secret, nothing more.

Its possible the thread is about Public Primary Schools. Most Southerners have since lost faith in poorly run and equipped primary schools and have voted with their feet by sending their kids and wards to private primary schools.

Those guys wan cheat for everything! Election, census, education etc etc.......

You got the point, more allocation of funds for ghost schools/students means more money for officials.

North have ruled more in political offices in various positions both military and democracy.
Money/funds both Home and away(who, imf, billgate etc) has being pumped into north.
Our budget; more is north.

Still ask those that serve in the states how's the standard of living there.

North masses (Christian /Muslim /others) need to hold all their politicians(past/ present) accountable for failure/slow growth of the region

Lol...you are perfectly correct. Unfortunately, a "united south" is not possible! it seems we will continue to fight for supremacy among ourselves forever.

Pathetic!
