The people of Imo State from different associations came together in a town hall meeting to meet the host Governor Ambode and Rochas Okorocha their home governor under the umbrella of the Imo State Liaison Office, Lagos. They presented their request through the Imo State Government Liaison Officer, Barr Steve Asimobi who eloquently made their demands to the Lagos State Governor. They requested for a piece of land to build an Imo Centre amongst other requests. Gov Okorocha added to their demands by asking for a appointments in the Lagos State Government for Imo indigenes. The governor of Lagos state in his short and delighting responce approved the land request and promised to look into the other demands in a short while.
