Nigerians on twitter are reacting to the news that Bayelsa Civil servants are being owed 5 months salary. Many Nigerians say they are surprised because the civil servants have been silent on this, unlike their Osun state counterpart that have repeatedly brought their plight to the fore. They also called on Common Sense senator, Ben Murray Bruce, who comes from the state, to speak out on the matter

A state that collects 13% derivation. One of the smallest state in Nigeria can not pay workers salary, what a shame.

Nigerian politicians are the biggest scammers of all time, unfortunately they have blind supporters who will defend them even though their parents are dying of hunger.

Just as he ignored comments relating to his book, so shall he sit this one out like a screech owl waiting for a prey to come by.

When the heat blows over, he'll emerge from the woods and continue doing what he does best.

How pathetic.

In spite of their small size and HUGE allocation, they still can't pay salary, the next thing you will hear now is that the Federal Government deprived them of their resources and used it to develop Lagos and Kano, not mention the monthly allocation that is going to militias groups and godfathers

seriously speaking, there is no justification for such an "I don't care attitude"; a state like bayelsa shouldn't be struggling to pay salary under whatever conditions
