My customers HAVE A 4.7L AND WOULD LIKE TO SWAP IT WITH A 5.7L HEMI ENGINE AND THEY ARE BOTH 2003s (THE RAM ORIGINALLY HAD A 4.7L) 4 weeks ago Report Abuse JetDoc Best Answer - Chosen by Voters Yes Mercedes BENZ C5, the Durango was available from the factory with the 5.7 liter Hemi, so it should be possible to swap one in. Just be sure to change out all the correct parts like the computer and front suspension to match the new, heavier engine. THIS IS WRONG AN 03 DURANGO CAME FACTORY WITH A 5.9V8, 4.7V8 OR A 3.9V6 THE HEMI DIDNT COME OUT IN THE DURANGOS UNTILL 2004 2ND GEN. SO DOES ANYONE ELSE KNOW THE ANSWER? |
