While acne is often considered a problem for teenagers, people of any age can experience acne symptoms. This usually occurs when your skin produces excess sebum, leading to clogged pores and outbreaks of pimples. Although your dermatologist can probably offer the best treatment for your acne, there are a number of home remedies that can help as well.

One theory says that acne are cause by increased activity of the sexual hormones in the skin. NOTE: This does not mean increased blood levels of sexual hormones, so I'm not aware of any actual test that could confirm this.

Anyway, they are things that can further increase the activity of the sexual hormones in the skin:
-- Certain foods when eaten in excess...You more or less need to find out which foods may be triggers for you, so there may be no definite list of foods to avoid for everyone, but think about chocolate and certain alcoholic drinks, eating too much food in general...
