Manchester United has edged Everton to advance to the FA Cup final in Wembley. But the 2:1 win against Everton did not come without much drama.

Manchester United went ahead at the break thanks to a Marouane Fellaini’s 34th minute strike. Fellaini reaches Anthony Martial’s cross to slot the ball into the net of his former club after dominating the game.

The second half saw a better Everton as they kept constant pressure on the Manchester United defence. Everton was rewarded shortly after the referee pointed to the penalty spot when Fosu Mensah was adjudged to have brought down Stone in the box.

Again David De Gea was the hero of the night for the Reds as he saved a Romelu Lukaku penalty after 55 minutes.

Everton equalised after 75 minutes thanks to Chris Smalling’s own goal but with the game heading into extra time Anthony Martial smashes the ball into the back of the net to send Manchester United through to the final.
