I switched totally to Ucweb this year as I prefer it to Opera Mini.
I used opera mini for many years, not having the thought for abandoning it, buh like they say, shii happens.

1. Opera doesn't load all the contents on a page sometimes. You can even be filling a form online, just to fill the last stuff, and all of a sudden, all what you filled above disappear.
2. I can't stream online with my own Opera (I don't know about you).
3. You can hardly be downloading and still browsing same time, one has to wait for the other. (I can start 6 downloads on ucweb and still browse).

What I enjoy on Opera mini.
I open many tabs. Sometimes, up to 40, Ucweb is limited to 10.

I have uc, chrome and my stock browsers. There are instances I prefer the stock, especially the desktop mode. But if you surf nairaland alot, nothing beats uc browser. Infact nairaland has made me love uc browser even more, because its easier to view pictures in all glory.

You nailed it with the emboldened. Its a Chinese app and the chipset is also Chinese. So the optimization works pretty well.

this is not true. Update your ucweb and experience a new browsing and surfing experience. Max tabs you can open on ucweb is 10 and , if your phone goes off, they can easily reload when you have connections.

My tabs stay for months and if it exists unexpectedly, i'd be asked to restore.

Go try out Samsung's updated browser. Works like a charm and blocks ads like a boss. My 2nd favorite browser after chrome.

Chrome is truly the best browser on android but fails at some aspect too. Eg opening multiple pages in tab. Some would close and you have to reload the page when you open the tab. Opera does this too. But I've never experienced this with UC browser. Plus chrome frezzes at times when scrolling through an heavy page.

Truth is when it comes to mobile browsing. Add all browsers on android and times it capabilities by 5. It would not still be better than safari on an iPhone

Safari on the iPhone is really great. That's one thing with iphones, it just works with less glitches. I think chrome works better on high end phones. I've tried virtually all browsers on my androids (g3, s6, m7) and I keep coming back to chrome. I've never experienced any scrolling glitch. Accepted it refreshes page on the s6 but that is samsung's fault as it doesn't do that on HTC one m7. But with marshmallow update that has been minimized. The only time it refreshes a page is if u have opened a tab for several hours and decide to come back to it. I believe every browser does that, safari also does that on iPhone, that is if u opened a tab in the morning and come back to it in the evening, it will refresh.
