An information reaching me, says that some youth in Amalla village sold a land for 4 million naira yesterday to many Fulani's. This set of Fulani headsmen were the one being chased out of the village of Nimbo, ikpabi Uzu Uwani.

Some villagers in Amalla, and others in Nsuka were angered hearing about the sold land and went straight to the Fulani's new settlement to chase them out.

Some communities sell or lease land to fulanis only to later renege on the agreement and seek to drive the fulanis away which results in crisis. Many fulani herdsmen are willing to pay for grazing land but the communities have to protect them against bad elements in those communities who may want to rustle cows or exploit the herdsman failing which the fulanis feeling cheated hire mercenaries to help them right the wrong .
