Has the case been discarded

The case is ongoing but no longer news because those bigots and the newspapers who were masturbating over the case by throwing insults and curses on the entire tribe, religion and region of the perpetrator; now have more to hide themselves, as more and more worst cases are being exposed in their own backyard: fathers raping and impregnating own daughters, pastors raping and impregnating minors etc. are now so common and being reported on daily basis - Ese/Yunusa's case simply doesn't compare.
