I want to venture in agribusiness by next year with investment capital of 200k and a plot of land. I am only interested in any of these - tomato, snail or Plantain. Agribusiness experts in the house please advise on which is more lucrative.

i can advice u to go into plantain and tomatoes on the same land since u can sell and enter market at anytime but if it is snail u must check urself on marketing. many will say exportation its only if u can meet with some conditions. this condition of a thing in selling ur tomato and plantain but u may need irrigation for the two.

Farming plantain on just a plot of land is shit. Op, ur land is too small for farming venture(crop production). I think snail farming idea for such size of land. Pls i don' know how profitable snail farming is..

Thanks for your contributions. I think I would go for tomatoes and plantain in a plot of land and try to acquire more lands in the future if I see good profits.

Op, I think it's better you do snail farming on that plot of land. Output would be small if you are doing on a plot of land unless you are doing greenhouse farming.

Snail farming is advisable. It will be Ok for a plot of land. Remember you wanna do commercial farming, a plot is too small for Tomato and plantain. Don't burn your 200k. Truth is bitter. For full time farming, a plot is small. Snail farming is your best option.
