The unreasonable people should just add 'SC' to their name to make it SCAVENGERS instead of AVENGER which they called themselves. Shame to any Pressure group in Nigeria who thinks the only way they can get attention is to sabotage the already destroyed economy by their cohort.Sorry SCAVENGERS Buhari is not ready to succumb to your insatiable demands this time around.

........their case is described in the book of Proverb 1:24-33.

I wish them goodluck, except, majority of those involved in the attack is not collecting or has ever benefited from the amnesty programme by the FG.

Oil makes up only 13% of Nigeria's GDP but over 70% of government's revenue. With the right structures, It is not inconceivable not oil will someday be less relevant in national discourse. Also, with concerns over climate change, oil will become less relevant in the coming decades.

When that happens, the Niger Delta will still be polluted not just by the actions of the oil majors but by the stupidity of Niger Delta youths, who can not think of the consequences of their narrow sighted actions. Perhaps, they are seeking another amnesty programme.

The cleanup of Ogoni land is billed to begin in June. It will take 25-30 years to complete. The effects of these blown pipelines will be felt not by the rest of Nigeria but by the children of the vandals.
nigeria planted in the past and it is time for harvest...the long marginALISATION of the niger delta is what is yielding presently...resource control is the way forward for nigeria if we ever want to stop seeing groups like the avengers etc...i once warned this present admin not to take the pipeline protection job from community stakeholders but they refused...sometimes i wonder about the fools who advise president buhari on the issues with the niger delta...efcc came on board and started a tompolo chase without even thinking of the outcome...why not wait for sometime before probing tompolo..or why not probe everybody at once(including ameachi) so that we can all move on and be happy..this is the result of this administrations mistakes...

Niger delta area is supposed to be developed like many modern cities. But what do you have? Shanties. Instead Lagos and Abuja grow.

Let Buhari introduce fiscal federalism or implementation of the resolutions of the last CONFAB.
Guy I stand to tell you that out of 100% of ND's problems, 70% is from their leaders in that region and not the federal Government.

It's in our (SE/SS) best interest. You can't take what belong to the 5%ers and give to the 95%ers, that is called Injustice and foul play. Buhari should enjoy his govt with the money gotten from cow milk...

Nonsense. NDA, I dey your side!
it might take you from now till wen you are 70 to understand what life and governance stands for. While other nations are moving forward we are setting ours 100yrs backward. Is blowing up govt facilities the best way to solving a problem? The same govt that has made sincere effort in cleaning ogini land left in filths by GEJ that they are bombing it's facilities. You bomb and remain in darkness and your people remain in abject poverty. You bomb and pollute ur environment and tomorrow still complain of govt neglect in cleaning up the mess. 13% derivative goes to the SS oil producing states, amnesty also for the same people yet they complain of more? Is dat not cruelty?

give a man who will be poor 1 billion naira. He will squander it. Give a man who will be rich 10000 he will multiply it. Do u not read budget if how much is allocated to your States yet bayelsa can't pay salaries. It's always give. Give. Give. But you see them in Abuja driving lamb's, Ferrari, and haunting nightclubs

The importers of refined fuel and generators will never allow Nigeria develop. They are the sponsors of this pillage.

The Niger Deltans have no reason to complain. Their kin was president for six years.

Our kin was president to the whole Nigeria and not just 5% of Nigeria! And he acted accordingly=> as the president of the 100%

You are not far from the truth.

In addition, the so called Niger Delta Avengers are most likely to be oil thieves. The major way to steal oil is to blow the pipelines. They deceive gullible people to believe they are fighting for Niger Delta. In similar vein, terrorists all over the world, including Boko Haram, use religion to steal, kill and maim.

The strategy is to exploit the emotions of gullible people to advance their main agenda of stealing and enriching themselves.
