Hello, pls where can I view the status of my RAM space on Redmi Note 3 Pro? The phone comes with 3GB RAM but only can't seem to find the space left unlike the 32GB internal memory. I can clearly view that. ..

There's no review of the redmi note 3 pro (Qualcomm) on the site, as a matter of fact, it doesn't heat while been charged.

All Xiaomi phones receives OTA. It can be upgrade to Android M via cancro or MIUI.

Yeah ...but does the OTA work on dev ROMs ? ...I really don't want to waste my time unlocking bootloader and then having to install custom recovery and then download ROM b4 installing ..and all that cycle

Yup, OTAs work. No boatloader etc etc unlock hassles.

All you need to do in order to switch is to download the dev rom from the miui site, dump file at the root location of your memory then use the updater app (You'll have to select "choose update package" option where you select the downloaded dev rom) Daz all. At least that's how I did mine, you may check the forums.

The only downside is you will lose some of your settings & app data, but you can always perform a mi backup b4 the exercise. Personally I'll advise you backup to your system too, just in case.

In all I've never regretted doing the switch

Depends on your current rom. I use Redmi note 3 & on Chinese dev rom. Developer roms get updates first before stable roms

This is the first time I'd be using a Xiaomi device(Redmi 3 Pro). It's cool and kind of odd when people ask you the kind of phone you Use and you say Xiaomi (most people do not know jack about it).

I bought it 157$ from aliexpress, the battery is strong 100% 4100mgw, all the camera good, no lag mine rooted from the company, not heat... But u can't use external memory.... It came with all accessories except headphone...

I can authoritatively tell you that aside the price, there's no much of a difference between the pro which uses snapdragon & the MTK version. I know you'll talk about benchmarks but remember real life usage is the koko

I don't think your OTA update gat any issues. Someone or you might have unintentionally disabled notification for your contacts & dialer app.

A possible fix: go to settings> notifications & status bar> app notifications then click on "contacts & dialer". The toggles there should be able to get the call notifications appear again
