Man I hope so. Sealing of Samsung and AMD, Samsung has been trying to beat Apple in terms of pricing these days. If they make a successful breakthrough, one can assume the price of their flagships will increase exponentially. Without performing as good as the Qualcomm counterparts, it costs the same (using the S20 Ultra as an example) and it's an in-house SoC. The moment they beat Qualcomm, I doubt their smartphone pricing will reflect the change positively

Hello
My sister just got a xiaomi note 8 pro but the battery has been draining ever since. We used up about 4% just to set up the phone alone. We spent 3hrs on the phone with just browsing and downloading system update and now the phone has gotten to 89%. Is this normal for a 4500mah battery?
u used a phone for 3 straight hours to browse and u re complaining of 89%??I can't sastify people of this world

with samsung's new partnership with AMD, the game would be changing soon. Heard they released a chip 3% faster than sd865. And are hoping to gain grounds in the SoC market. Someone needs to end this useless monopoly
Samsung and their lies, don't believe them, until you use their weak Exynos before you will see that reality is different from paper and benchmark

on God this anti MTK bias on this thread get as e be....So someone using Snapdragon 439 will be laughing at me using G90T cause it is MTK... grin grin
yes o. MTK bad, SD good. That's the motto. It is what it is bro grin.

Dem also say if you no flash custom ROM you no go know if your phone true true get power. Therefore, as it is, we no fit know if G90T even better pass that SD439 or even SD435. grin

I don agree na. Let all those who use the Redmi Note 8 (for example) flash custom ROM to find out if their device is truly more powerful than the Redmi 8 or 8a. Custom ROM is the one true benchmark for phone/SoC performance. lipsrsealed
reading through your comments since the start of this whole thing, I found most of the points you countered to be very hilarious.. How on earth will someone conclude that flashing of rom cum SoC prowess is something I cannot can.
Let it rest, your points are valid and consistent but others will surely disagree or propose contradictory opinion(s), we go dey aiit last like one of my boss go always talk.

Most of you replying my previous post are just saying gibberish. For a 4500mah battery, it is supposed to last at least a whole day without heavy usage but this one is just going for 12 hrs a day with just browsing and without playing games or watching videos. Some of you will just be doing ITK as if other people don't know anything about Android

I typed and deleted quite a lengthy post on how anecdotal fanboyism on this thread have subjugated quantitative analyses of chipsets.

Perception instead of industry metric.

It is tiring.

Give your device time to adjust. That's how android 9 works (Digital wellbeing). Keep using the original charger.

Also, hope you didn't change the charger, if not it will take longer to adjust.

why did you delete though? It might have made for good reading for someone at least, even if the majority may disagree.
