Good morning guys: There are some things I noticed about my note 7 and I wanna know if they can be fixed:

1. Google apps Playstore, Gmail, maps etc) do not display (complaining of internet connectivity) in the wee hours of the morning. Like from 3am-6am.

2. My network goes back to 4G from the initial 3G set if I switch data on to the network.

3. There is this song that plays when some sort of messages enter and it doesn't stop till it finishes playing. Sometimes I have to slide the curtain down for it to stop.

4. Some few times while making calls, I can barely hear what the other person is saying like the person's voice is muffled or something.

Anybody with ideas to solve these? Thanks in advance.

Number 2. You probably switched off your phone. Once you do that all preferred network settings will change.
Number 3. Check your sound settings

It is a previously downloaded ROM, if you have already updated delete it. Nothing to be scared about, your phone never spoil

Also, I tried downloading this update around 2am but it got stuck at 70(something)%. It later told me failed. So is there any other way I can download and install the update without using the device updater?

I have 8A. And always switching back to 2G on its own when placed on 3G.
Again, who can help with site to download manual ROM?

Even if you download full ROM you still need the updater app. If you want to download an update use a stable Internet connection.

Its old i know... But its better than all the transsion phones i used.
Any way i can get some links to root and mod this device with GCam and so on?

Xiaomi Tweaking Thread, link in the first page.

You don't necessarily have to root to use Gcam, unlock bootloader, install custom recovery and enable Camera2api.

Go to the tweaking thread and ask questions, you should be guided better there.
