Is it RN9 that have been on MIUI 12 for over 5 months? If you want to update, do it. MIUI 12 isn't new to that device.

Ok dear. Some phone makers wanted to force such phones down consumer throats by stopping production of SD Card applicable phone in 2020, but there was worldwide outrage against them
Some 6Gb RAM phones have 128GB Internal storage and think just because of that they should not put memory card slot. This limits your storage power, unless you want to be wasting money/data uploading to Cloud, they incapacitate anybody that buy it. Most phone users like me that work with heavy data love 2 sim Phones that comes with Memory card slot for to 128, 256gb, 512 or 1Tb. Freedom is bae.
