Can't help it but I just love using top end latest tech.

The Super AMOLED and 120hz refresh rate is a serious upgrade. Coupled with 732G chipset. It's really future proof.

Still retains the looks of note 9S except the back cam module, which I don't really like— most 2020/21 phones have very similar looking style except the flagships.

Anyhoo, I'll use this phone for at least 2 yrs before thinking of upgrade. It's also future proof for Naija market. We ain't even getting 5G in the next 3yrs. Covid already slowed down any plans for such rapid deployment.

It works fine at first, but soon as I do an update, I'll be unable to use it again, like I can log in and shit, but messages will be taking hours, days to deliver or be received. No matter how many variants I try after that update, it'll all be the same.

I'm currently experiencing this nonsense thing too. I even formatted my phone thinking it was the memory. But gb plus works fine without any issue.

The limit on Redmi 7 is 580.

And that's due to the screen resolution. 720p.

It's not an issue with your android version.

Those that are using android 10 on a 1080p device can go lower than 580 to as low as 700.

Also, note that some themes do not support a particular dpi. So before changing that theme, read reviews or change your DPI to default. That way, you'll be safe from having to wipe data whenever it bootloops.
