|'dash' Has Always Been A Nigerian Thing by MathsChic(f): 2:58pm On May 09, 2016|
Newspaper clipping from 1966 shows 'Dash' has always been a Nigerian thing. When are Nigerians going to stop this crap!!!??
It's remarkable that as far back as 1966, statements such as "dash has for years been a way of life in this steamy former colonial territory" and "Bedeviled by political rivalry, tribalism and religious ferment, many Nigerian politicians and businessmen bribed their way into immense political and financial power" could easily find their way into foreign newspapers. Evidently, Nigeria's infamous reputation was not built in a day.

Not surprised at all.
And I don't see it stopping. It's part of the Nigerian culture, and will remain so for a long long time.
