GEJ met same problem as much as Buhari did, the only difference is that he didn't take the nation hostage because of it..
You mean Buhari shouldn't fix the problem, but just continue abi?

Thank God for giving us PMB, now even the commonest of man have an idea of Nigeria's budget. That's is sanity, integrity and openness at work.

May God shower his blessings on Buhari

kept mute? how u tek hear abt am? na spirit tell u?

in the world illiterates act differently from literates.

illiterate will shout n act so everybody will notice him, literate n sane man will act wisely n at the end he will still achieve wat he targeted.

gej was n is literate, buhari is an illiterate.

Normally I wouldn't want to join issues with you. However, for the purpose of clarification, Kindly go through the link below:

It is also good that the voices of the masses is now being heard by those in authorities as witnessed during the budget brouhaha et al.

Kindly note that I am not PMB fan boy as you've alleged. Also note that hating on PMB will not prevent him from flying grin grin grin

pls name one of them?

for the records pmb never read the budget, if he did he would have seen the padding before it was sent to national assembly.

it was after the figures leaked and outcry from public that pmb knew.

Talking about GEJ, budgets were padded at National Assembly, after thorough scrutiny, the corrupt officials bribe the senators and reps to inflate the amount.

can't you see the difference?

you are free to worship your god, buhari anyway

before you talk of scrutiny, it is a force from the masses that even gives buhari the awareness that something is wrong else he won't know jack....

you guys are so funny, depending without thinking through …

IPOB wailers will still blame buhari

The difference between Buhari and Jonathan is what Yorubas call Ekpon - Balls

Gej was a weakling whose main interest in life is based on alcoholic beverages

The MDAs and the senate tried the same nonsense with Buhari and we all know the outcome

Buhari is the best president Nigeria has ever had

Exactly, notice how Jogogro was lamenting about the padding only after signing the budget - more like an after thought and took no actions against the perpetrators; while PMB wouldn't take any of that bullsh!t.

So it's right that GEJ signed the budget of 2012 when he knew it had been padded?

People that have been screaming for Buhari certificate can now see that too much eduction does not equate intelligence. They are two different things. GEJ was a very weak president, he too dey send and too dey look Uche face, that's why a lot of people messed his govt up. He just talk and didn't carry out much actions. A good leader will stand on his word and never sign such budget like Buhari did. But GEJ signed finish he come dey give dem voice, that to me, na medicine after death.

A good leader must be discipline. That young man that says GEJ should have sign the 2012 budget into law so as not to hold Nigeria to ransom, its obvious you don't make good enough research before you write. GEJ's Budget signings delayed more than Buhari's.

GEJ signed 2011 Budget on May
27, 2013 Budget on May 24, 2015 Budget was signed May 19th and Buhari signed 2016 Budget into law on May 06 2016.

GEJ shouldn't have signed it into law, he should have brought perpetrator to book, by now the issue of padding would have been a thing of the past. Now that Buhari resisted their wicked move to pad the budget of 2016, such thing will reduce in 2017 and gradually fade out and if he keeps fighting them to standstill there will be no more padding in the subsequent budget of Nigeria even after Buhari's govt.

Buhari na the best president Nigeria ever have now. I don't know about the nearest future, until then. But from time past till now so far he is the best. I careless what anyone has to say to quote me.

This is how budget was padded under GEJ.

In your info graphic... everyone is guilty but PMB was alleged to have been given 2 SUVs.

That says a lot you know?

So only PDP guys are guilty right?

Buhari just correct what GEJ refeuse to do in 2012
Re: Jonathan On Budget Padding: Throwback News by olayinkaj2(m): 6:22pm On May 10, 2016
So, Buhari was right not to have signed the padded budget because some people in the national assembly wants their own share be included but baba caught them all and they started making noise making it look like Buhari was wicked. Thieves in the senate and national assembly.

you are wrong don't carried. away by such false news, those ministers were sacked because of pressure from APC to remove PDP appointees from office and compensate APC faithfuls.

there are only 3places a budget can be successfully padded

1. from the office of the minister of such ministry
2. ministry of budget and national planning

3. national assembly

outside these no DG can pad budget without the knowledge of the minister, at least it will still pass through the minister before getting to president.

secondly, government agencies are not funded on their own, the monies passes through ministry.

so if they told you DG's padded budgets it is a big lie.

if they pad, minister will see it, ministry of budget and national planning will see it.

so don't believe that poo, they were removed because they were PDPappointees

Dude, you really need to go back to school and learn use of English language, thats why zombies are usually making mistakes, incase you didnt notice, the former president was talking about lobbying and not padding, you should have tried to find out the difference before disgracing yourself with this post, lobbying is a practice found all over the world were agents try to lobby senators to pass their ministries budgets on behalf of the ministry, it's done even in america (Google lobbying in capitol hill) and its not the same as padding where criminals smuggle un approved figures into the budget, learn the difference pls.
one of the rule of answering questions drawn out of comprehension passage in english language is reading the passage to the end before answering questions. You should stop being so vile.
