The Chairman of Moba Local Government, Mr Akinwale Alebiosu, and five others have been arrested by the Ekiti State Police Command over alleged gunrunning. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) learnt that Alebiosu and others were arrested at Otun-Ekiti on Friday at about 11p.m. with 13 guns concealed in a vehicle. Its just unfortunate that noises will be made and that would be the end of it. No prosecution and no conviction. Reminds me of Senator Kila who was found with guns a few days before the governorship election re-run, till today the man is walking about as free as air. |
