Members of Education/Environmental CDS group in collaboration with Ogun State Environmental Protective Agency(OGEPA) embarked on a massive street to street sensitization/cleaning exercise today in Ota town, On the need to keep our environment clean in preparation of their up coming Cds project tagged OPERATION KEEP OTA CLEAN and journal publication tagged MAN AND ITS ENVIRONMENT.
The exercise which experience a good turn-up of members was done with Corp members picking all the dirt/ drainage cleaning from the local government secretariat to Sango bridge. The topic they sensitized people on were Global warming, Effect of illegal dumping of refuse/drainage blockage, Air/water pollution, Health and hygiene, and Recycling of waste.
The president who is a Nairalander spoke extensively on the disadvantage of burning refuses as a means of disposing it.
