As previously mentioned, the only real difference between the two is that with free tier, users do not have the option to include ads and the e-commerce functionality is severely limited. But if a user is willing to pay for a business or premium tier, ads may be included on the site.

Also, unlike Blogger, builds a network/community through their platform more so than Blogger. Sure, other members on blogger.com can find your blog, but the Blogger.com platform itself does not promote the individual blogs hosted on its servers. Not the way Wordpress does. is far more of a community than Blogger.com. If your blog generates traffic on its own, then it doesn't matter. But if someone is a beginner, with little knowledge or experience, I would recommend because at least they offer tips, tutorials and training for beginners. Blogger.com doesn't.

I recommend Wordpress because of its ease to transfer, its expandability and its reach. And also because all of my web-based products and services are built for Wordpress and custom built CMS solutions.

Aside from these two differences, they are relatively the same -- and Blogger.com. It all boils down to what a person's individual preferences are. I recommend because that is my opinion based on having built blogs on both platforms. Others may -- and they do -- feel differently.

If someone has the knowledge and drive, it doesn't matter which platform they choose. But if they are in need of guidance, I would strongly recommend they go with Wordpress over Blogger.

Yes you can upload the template , as long as it complies with Google XML formats otherwise it won't work.

i have an adsense approved account, av set everything up, or so i think but i cant find the ads in located av choosed for them.

i mean i cant find the adds at all, but the widgets are there where i put them.

Normally u should use a HTML/JavaScript widget to add custom code like JavaScript n HTML codes. If you did everything correctly, then you should try changing your template, it could be as a result of a script running on your template.

i was thinking, the adsense account is old, but the blog is newly created, dont know if this might be d reason for it.

I choose word press because it is so easy and understandable and should fix the error I recently use rebuild website

I prefer Blogger to Worspress, it is very simple and free to use. I have been using blogger for the past ten years and I have mastered every aspect of it. I even, myself, design my blog http://nairapoints..com/ with it.
But I know that wordpress is the industry standard and I will soon switch to it.Thank you.

I really like this topic. I am a new blogger, but I own both wordpress and blogger. As for me blogger is still the best, why?
1. I show ads from my affilate readily.
2. My blogger post is indexed much, when compare to the latter.
3. Access to different form of professional templates.
4. Blogger self service packages i.e it allow to add javascript, google ads etc.
5. Access to google adsense, adwords and analytics.

Blogger is still the best because you get to do absolutely everything for FREE!
Also while using the free wordpress, there is a limited storage while Blogger platform storage is very high

Lastly

As for those saying Blogger themes are not pretty sophisticated, there are now advanced blogger themes which will make your blogger themes look very super cool
