My bad exprience with Access bank customer service yesterday. I took a night bus from lagos to abuja when I got a message that I should proceed to kaduna for one or two reason, I have family members living in kaduna but was not having much on me to buy some gift for my brothers and inlaw, so I decided to follow the bus I took from abuja to command junction, after then a keke to kachia Road.

I got to the bank trying to get a withdrawal slip, I could not find one and i approach a lady to ask "may I know where I can find the withdrawal slip" and she said to me don't u have an ATM. She just angrily directed me to another lady, and she too asked me rudely; where is your ATM. I said I was travelling and I ran out of cash and I am in need of money but she told me i can't withdraw with the slip and I should enroll for another ATM. I told her i can't and after that I requested for a transfer form then she directed me to another lady.

The lady @ the transfer deck asked me what kind of phone I am using to which i answered Nokia 206. After some minute of filling the form, I asked her the time I will receive a notification and she said she can't say but it has been done.

MY OBSERVATIONS And REASON FOR PORTING OUT
1. They all lacked politness and courtsey
2. They don't value their customer
3. Non challant attitude
4. Poor customer experience and engagement
5. They all don't care if u stay or leave

Worst bank in Nigeria, I collected my ATM last year and couldn't active it due to their excuses. I dump them long ago for my darling uba

When they are being paid peanuts and expect a million dollar service from them. Nigeria workers are not motivated by their employers that's why you experience poor service from them. And the few that are calm and giving their best just doing due to connections or whatever they expect from it. Sorry for the discomfort @OP

Have you contacted them to complain about this? you can send them an email on contactcenter@accessbankplc.com
I am very sure they will take this up on your behalf because the Access Bank i know do not joke with their customers. They provide good customer service experience. Send a mail and i am sure they will treat you better.

I said to her that I was coming from travelling and I ran out of cash and I am in need of money and my she told mi can't withdraw with the slip or I shold enroll for another ATM I told her no after that I told her I want a trasnfer form she directed to another lady. The lady @ the tranfer deck asked me she the of phone I am using I showed her nokia 206 while my andriod phone was dead and was in my bag. After some miunte of filling the form I asked her the time I will receive a notification she said she can't say but has been done.
MY OBSERVATIONS And REASON FOR PORTING OUT
1. They all lack politness and courtsey

5. They all don't care if u stay or leave
They fail to know for each customer that had bad experience and said it out there are 25% where also treated in a such manner but will not say it out they also fail to know a customer will only go where he/ she is wanted ,respected and understood

don't know about their banking experience, but I HATE them with passion because they only recruit graduates with 2.1. that's all.

That yamayama Access bank. Took them more than a month to open account for me, took almost 4 months to give me Atm card, and I've not been able to use to card since 2014

I won't blame the staff for behaving that way, access bank should take the blame because they are the cause of the poor service that the staff rendered. Access treat customer like a king and they give quality service, don't be surprise that what you wrote here has cause the staff involve his/her job. The person is as good as an unemployed graduate now because they hate seeing complain of a customer on the media.

But I repeat, access bank is the cause of it. Those atm card, mobile banking, paywithcature those staff are asking every now and then, Is a target for all staff set by those "forming busy doing nothing oga" at the head office and It will be closing by June. That is the major key part they will use to appraise the core staff that work in the branch excluding those contract staff. But the BM will push the duty to the contract staff that the must meet some certain number daily an failure to do so, they will be debited. Last year when I was still with them I was debited 1k like 5times for not meeting my target and also my other colleagues as well. Despite the task in front of you, you will still be looking for someone to market for mobile banking and ATM. Only 2 tellers can be on the counter and they still expect them to do some channel migration and customer must not complain about you for poor service. The pressure there is too much. Bros if you know what those people are facing for this channel migration daily you will pity them. That's why they keep all the withdrawal slip so that they can get more customer to do atm and mobile banking.
Now that you brought it here, access bank will never forgive the staff and they are the one that will be giving unnecessary target to the staff

That bank is the most useless bank to work with in nigeria

Pity that's the trend in most of our Nigerian bank these days.. Maybe they are Frustrated... I can't say.
They seems to enjoy "pushing" you from one person to another.

I had similar experience at a first bank branch the other. But one of their Elderly worker intervene .

Even ordinary South Africa FNB BANK , you can withdraw money from the ATM without ATM CARD, I just don't know why nothing is working in this country except fraud , kuwaraption and stealing join together

What I normally do is to take a photo of those ladies, find out there names and write a email to there head office and copy consumer
protection .........believe me, u will meet another person that really need that job the next day u visit
