Travel Lounge Nigeria is an online community platform that allows Nigerian travellers to connect, relate and share travel experiences. It is uniquely designed with the sole aim of connecting travellers within Nigeria and Diaspora.

As a new start-up, Travel Lounge's vision is to be the leading traveller community platform within Nigeria and Diaspora. A key goal of our vision is to to provide travellers with the information they need to make good choices when planning their next trip; whether it is for studies, business or leisure.

To achieve our goal, we have developed an easy to use platform covering a broad range of subjects including a dedicated Visa and Immigration section.

Our Visa and Immigration section allows a member to the documents needed for Visas and Immigration to any country of their choice. It was designed to ease the first stage of Visa processing.

To constantly provide updated information and resources for our members, we need the support of a freelance writer.

As a freelance writer, you'll work closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist and Project Manager to provide useful information for potential travellers.

You will be provided with a title, content direction and keywords for each article that is published on our platform. Occasionally, you will be required to update old articles where applicable.

Our team is small. As such, we expect you to show a good aptitude and attitude towards learning. Ability to produce results based on simple instructions, work unsupervised and be passionate about writing.

Preferably, we want you to be an established writer (or blogger) with an online portfolio. Active social media accounts and experience with the requirements and procedures for travelling outside Nigeria will be an added advantage.

This is a part-time position suitable for a university student, recent graduate or NYSC member willing to join our team as a freelance writer. Article performance will be closely monitored and efforts will be rewarded.
