I can give you what you are looking for. But are you prepared to pay for it? N7,500.

Again, do you have the funds to deploy this kind of lotto system? It's gonna cost you some real dough.

Which one do u want, on-line or Baba Ijebu? Before u dabble into an endless pit of trouble, ask for professional opinion. If in doubt, ask anybody that works with Lotto Nigeria/NSL. Tori plenty o

That's exactly what my report is supposed to explain. Personally, I feel that the money she is going to spend on setting up AND MAINTAINING the platform on which her lotto will run can be deployed into more productive ventures.

But it's her choice to make. We can't make it for her.

I am willing to deal with the deal.
Why would i have to pay to get information?
How fair is that?

I want the real thing:
Print and sell th tickets to people where they pick numbers.
On weekly basis, my coy will announce the winner, and the winner will be presented with a cheque in our office.
Some proceedings will go to some charitable organization, so it is win-win situation for all

That's the model run by Lotto Nigeria. The entire system has a heavy dependence on an IT platform for it to run smoothly. Not only that. In addition to setting up and paying an IT company to run the entire system for you, you will need to get clearance from the Consumer Protection Council to run any kind of promo or lottery with promise of financial returns. There are stuff they will ask you to provide.

And yes! Why would you have to pay for that information? Answer? You don't have to. It's always an option to pay for quality info (obtained from reliable sources; costs money to get it) or to get the informatuion from elsewhere and move along with it.

Afterall, your money is what will take the hit if something goes wrong as a result of working with info obtained from just anywhere. Not anyone else's.

To start with u'll need an operating license, sate or federal. In Lagos state, you start with the Guv's office, if its federal. go to the Ministry of Finance. In Lagos, only on-line operation is allowed. Federal u'll contend with NSL. They have an exclusive license granted by the previous administration for some years.

Now the real issues. So many lotteries failed in Nigeria not because the operators are technically or technologically deficient. The question is are working class Nigerians who can afford to play weekly ready to gamble with their money? Are wethat laid back that the only hope we see is winning the stakes? I doubt. Which leads us to the issue of Babba Ijebu. It is a resounding success becuase its audience is clearly defined without pretences. It targets the heart of the lower class . It is not bound by rules or regulations rather it is the whims of the manipulative operator, who is able to connect with his audience. The name itself is indicative enough- Baba Ijebu- Da pada. It plays on the psyche of the okada rider, the idle house wife.

Meanwhile, the NSL with its esoteric high fallutin game is yet to find its bearing after putting in several billions. It has in the last few years engaged several international operators, from Gameplan Associates, UK, to Gtech, USA to pep its operations to no avail. As an investor, please consider ur options well

I am already into IT.
I just would like to introduce something new into the system.
So can someone tell me the phone number of the agency that takes care of such registration?
Can someone tell me where to start from, and this will be something Legis/Legal and transparent to the public.

Ok. But what do you want again? If u want to operate in any state in Nigeria, start with the Governor's office and they will direct you to the state's Gaming Board and if you want a federal license, go to the Federal Ministry of Finance in Abuja.

Otherwise, go to NSL's office, 3 Anifowose Street, opposite Canadian consulate, VI, maybe they'll grant you a sub-license to operate. NSL has an exclusive federal license to operatea national lottery for some years.

You are a wonderful person and i am so glad that people like you still around to help others.
However, would it be possible for you to get the number that i can call, or must i go to their office, cos i have noticed that most offices in Nigeria are kinda rude when visited.

If interested kindly contact me at wordaz@yahoo.com or on 08079937431. Or on the flip side whatever advise u have to offer will b appreciated. Cheers.
