Hi all, I was wondering if i could get any information about converting RHD cars to LHD in lagos. I've got three RIGHT HAND DRIVE peugeot 406s arriving lagos in two weeks time, and would be glad to have them converted to LHD. Any info about costs, or garages who specialise in doing this would be appreciated. Likewise i'd love to hear any personal experiences about driving a RHD, and benefits of doing the conversion.

It is not really worth it to convert a car or truck from RHD to LHD.
First of all, it is very dangerous. They cut through the axles, engine firewall, brakes lines etc, and weld again.
Nothing is done precisely but only by guessing.
The car drives sloppy leaning left or right and it would start shaking after few hundred miles. The dashboards dont fit and you can easily tell the car was originally RHD. Moreover, it is very expensive. It is much better and safe to buy original LHD car.
According to german automobile safety authority, it is forbidden to convert RHD to LHD or vice versa.
I recommend you a very reliable service in Germany which exports original LHD vehicles.
