Following assassination threat the Niger Delta Avengers issued to the Nigerian President-Muhammadu Buhari over Radio Biafra days ago if he dares to enter Ogoni land, the group has once more stated their conditions for cease fire yesterday in their call to Radio Biafra on friday evening the 3rd of June, 2016.

In their words, ‘’We do not want any of our elders to come and negotiate with us –We also warn America and Britain not to negotiate directly with Nigeria –All we want is our freedom, not money, and if they want to negotiate with us, they should first release Nnamdi Kanu to us. He is the leader of Biafra and anything he tells us to do, we will do. He(Nnamdi Kanu) will be the one to negotiate –Not only him, they should also release all Biafrans in their prisons and police cells because they did not commit any crime, others like Fani Kayode and Dasuki should also be released’’.


It can be recalled that there are recent rumors of the Nigeria Government’s plan to send the former president, Goodluck Jonathan to negotiate with the NDA. Their call yesterday was to make it clear that no negotiation of any sort will take place if Nnamdi Kanu is not released.

Still on their call, they warned, ‘’We have about 5000 missiles ready to fire incase the federal government wants to try any nonsense, we are ready for them. We have missiles to send to Aso rock, we have all it takes to shut down the telecommunication and they cannot communicate, we also can bring down any flying object they might try to send. We are ready for them. To all the South East governors and leaders, their days are near, our eyes are on them and even on their families, we know where their children are, we know the schools they attend. Willie Obiano, Ngige, Rochas, their days are near.
