another use....
to check if a remote control is functioning...just let d remote control of ur tv,decoder,etc face ur camera..press any button nd u ll see a dull red light blink as u press d keys.

You can also use the phone camera to test a tv remote control. Just put on the camera and place the top of the remote behind it and press the remote. U can Google search it too

awesome ! you can still use your phone camera to detect hidden spy/Surveillance cameras in a room, especially in different dark. just take a shut in a dark room, if the picture shows signs of rays of light, then there's a camera in the room.

A very cool use of phone cameras by someone in my research group. We use the phone camera during data collection to make GIS maps since some phones now can include GPS tags to pictures.
