What a watery statement. Giving is not compulsory, but advisory. In this day and age where pastors have become fathers, with commanding influence, advice to give is the same as compulsory.
The church thrives on taking from the masses. That is a fact.

In the categorization what is the level of blessing for 1000 naira, 500 naira, 20 naira. What blessing is there for those who had genuine joy that a house of God is to be built but don't have at all but would have contributed if they had.
The categorization of blessings is evil and the wanton greed for accumulation of funds from parishioners is a great sin.

The truth is rccg region 14 , which comprises akwa ibom and cross river states, is headed by a blood brother to daddy G.O's wife; and he actually asked members to give accordingly. So why are people trying to refute it?
They just finished pulpit exchange and the pastors were instructed to give out the forms.

This reply is NOT from RCCG H/Qtrs. and it's NOT authentic for 2 reasons:
1) It has NO signature.
2) RCCG logo is placed on the bottom right side of their letter-headed-paper or flyer.

But I do know that RCCG and so many other churches have been bastardized, monetized, commercialized,

in your heart or soul.

God told us to give to the "least" (poor) amongst us. God doesn't want your money, house, or car but to do GOOD and CHARITY.

Many pastors today are self-ordained and ignorant of Christian faith they claim to profess. This kind of mess is inevitable when you give the job to a kid. To be frank many pastors are kids in Christian faith. They are ignorant of the Bible principles and their behavior is childish.

However those who are not childish but still misbehaving are far from being spiritual. Those who fall to this category are carnal minded, leading congregation astray, and must be avoided. The Bible says you shall know them by their fruits.

All is can make of that statement is 'ENDORSEMENT'

That is the manipulation prevalent in churches today: to assume that God's blessings can be bought with money or is proportional to your financial and material contributions to the church.

There is a whole lot of difference between cheerful giving and sacrificial giving.

The former is easy while the latter is painful.

Sacrificial giving will cost you something painful...

They are all scriptural.
It's not by force to do any of the giving. You give in your own interest.

I found it strange RCCG didn't address 'categorization' of the financial givings, which is equally as bad as compulsive tone of the form.

God loves a cheerful giver but remember the parable of the widows mite.

Just imagine how a church is selling God's blessing with a price tag and out of shame they use the world 'NOTE COMPELLING'. It no longer tithe and offering is now HALF OF MY SALARY OR THE WHOLE.

From this statement its clear that the headquarters are aware that what region 14 did was wrong so they came out to denounce the act. This means that the earlier statement from region 14 claiming that they never asked anyone to pay money is a lie. They actually asked members to sacrifice everything they have.
