There was unrest this morning at the Federal College of Education in Gombe State (TECH) following a protest over lack of water in the school. The students were agitating against the attitude of the provost Gimba Abbas Adam in helping them resolve the longing water scarcity. Authorities have shut down the school as armed security men have been called in to control the students and prevent breakdown of law and order....

Honestly! Gombe is hell! You need to go there and see for yourself. The government even tried to create borehole for them. The town is very small but quite beautiful but the nonavailability of a river makes life rather boring.
