LAND PREPARATION: slash your bush (some people do bush burning but one major disadvantage of it is that it destroy the organic matters of the soil) so i will advice u do slashing and leave the grass to decay on the farm it will add to the fertility of the farm and after that is do your farm layout.

planting of cocoa right now is late but if you know u have irrigation in ur farm u can plant it n shad also, #150 per seedling

For those who are planning to go into cocoa farming by 2017 u should start sourcing for farm land unless you want to do small scale farming.

the best time to start planting is June de soil will av been well saturated with water by then but dia r some time u can plant till September if you have shad n irrigation n it av technique also.
