Wisely you can lodge this complain to their customer care. I have bank with these banks for years now and have never experienced delay of refund cash. If you are debited without money been paid they will accredit your account. Just follow up nd be patient

Please nairalanders help me push this message till it gets to buhari if possible. My friend tried making a withdrawal through her ecobank ATM and her account was credited without dispensing the cash. All effort to resolve the issue proved abortive cos the bank's branch manager is being indifferent.

Things are hard this time. It is even harder for a student and to be ripped off by an institution that is meant to safeguard your money is just not fair. That's day time robbery.


Ecobank awka please and please, credit this poor girls account and upgrade your system.

It's not as if am praising them,it happened to me about a week ago.I wrote to the guys in lagos via email and within two days they replied me that they have reversed the transaction whilst I complained at their portharcourt rumuola branch on same day i notified the Lagos guys and they gave me a complaint paper to fill and told me It will take 5 working days.The guys in Lagos did it in one day.Follow the right approach and it will be resolved as soon as you don't even expect it.Forget those their branch managers that don't even know what they are doing.

Though am yet to thank Nairaland and the guy that posted the addresses but it helped me a lot-so copy the one of ecobank and send a mail to the ecobank address and watch what happens-

Ecobank is either a fraudulent bank or some of the member of staff are crooks. An ATM dispensed three fake naira notes when I went to get get cash. When I went to complaint they denied it was their atm that dispensed it. They paid me #17k instead of 20k. Oleeeeeeeeeeee!!!

It could be the fact that cash was not in the ATM and no one cares to put "out of order" on the mechine. to notify the customers
she should just go to the nearest branch of ECO bank there and make a formal complain.

Tell them the time u made the transaction. then if you are not satisfied with their response, look for "consumer watch dogs" office close to u.

if she has not made any formal complaint. then this is Childish
