I pity whatspp, i see pride on their wings. They want to take away the very essence of what made people fell in love with the app which is 'usability across platforms'.

You can install Google Play Store on your BB10 device to get android Apps. I use a Z30 and I downloaded the Android version of WhatsApp on it from Play Store.

I got the same notification but I'm not bothered one bit. I have both blackberry and android versions of whatsapp running simultaneously on my Z30.
Again, I've had Google Play store installed and in use for a long time now.
