Right from primary school If anyone ask what my future ambition was then, I boldly reply aeronautic engineering. Right from my primary school days I've been reading complex books which my older siblings find it difficult to comprehend( yes, I was that bright). suddenly in my junior secondary school days money just caught my attention and all I wanted to be was a banker. When I sleep I see my self in bespoke suits carrying briefcase and entering UBA like a boss. Fast forward to the end of JSS3 when our JSSCE results came out and I had 9A's ,3C's and all the teachers were just famzing about how they knew I was going to be the next best thing after slice bread(including those ugly ones that always flog me for the flimsiest excuse).

The VP academics just called me to her office telling not to hustle with other potential SS1 students trying to fix themselves in various departments, that my place is already fixed in the science class. To her surprise, I informed her I would like to be in a commercial class and not science. She was dumbfounded and requested I come with my parents assent that I really should be placed in a commercial class.

By SS2 I already had my SSCE result complete(yeah 8papers consisting of A,B's and C's) courtesy of a GCE I sat for in SS2. Immediately I feel like just leaving school and going to varsity straight.

First Jamb, I filled in accountancy and OAU as the school of choice. After passing Jamb and post ume real well, na so OAU change am for me o. Name not found in admission list. Shege! I just vex removed OAU from the list of schools in my good book.

The following year UNILAG and LASU were my point of call. My post ume score for UNILAG no reach my catchment area(that's a problem when you are from all these states with high level of literacy). As LASU just flash me green light, I just grab am with two hands pakam! And after everything here I am today being grateful I took that right decisions at the appropriate time to cement a good career for myself without much external factor

I've always wanted to be a scientist like Einstein, wear a white lab coat and invent things. When I got to senior secondary, I decided to go for Mech. Engr. because people said it was the only way to make money. I still thank God that it didn't work out for me and very soon I'll be the scientist that I've always dreamt of.

sorry again..but does it require chem through d whole 5yrs..tnx

It requires five credit level in English, math, chemistry, physics and Biology. chemistry is compulsory in 100 level as applicable to all science students.
Area of specialisation are
chemical pathology which is chemistry oriented,Histooathology, molecular biology, Hematology and blood transfusion, forensic science, medical microbiology and parasitology. It is such an interesting course which involve analysis of tissues and body fluids such as blood, urine etc. It is fun, easy, difficult and also hard to study. Only your passion for d course will lead u through. U can never regret being a medical lab scientist

Just dislike that subject they call business study especially the balancing of a thing. invoice, balance sheet and what a view. me don't think I got one balancing correctly until I leave that subject. it's kinda hard especially when they paint those demand and supply scenario for u to balance. Thank God for the option of science...

Wanted to study medicine like my mates, but I realised my talent early in life. Mathematics is my strength, physics is my passion. I knew I was destined to be in engineering field. It was easy for me to settle for elect elect

lol. it's 4 years b.sc, 2 years m.sc. the jury is... interesting to say the least..you know.. different lecturers with different preferences and characters..and you, trying to satisfy them all.. it's quite the experience ..

we start using CAD officially in part 4, although some folks in part 2&3 use it to complement their designs..

I could have been a lot of things. I am still going to be a lot of things. Right now, I don't know what I am. My temporary choice of path was informed by money.

Getting there.

Although I wanted to be a doctor in my JSS class due to my love for Integrated Science, but the gene of 'Thomas Edison' which runs strong in my veins pushed my inquisitive mind to the workings of appliances like fans, radios, toys, etc and also comparison between my Engineer uncle who had more money more than my Doctor uncle pushed me more to the side of Engineering.
Your engineer uncle was richer than your doctor uncle?
wow.. really surprising to hear...what discipline is engineering is that?
