Nollywood actress and ex TV newscaster, Bukky Ajayi passed on on the early hours of Wednesday, 7th of July, 2016, after she had battled with heart-related issues.

It’d just been five months after the late actress celebrated her 82nd birthday with her relatives.

The veteran actress was honoured with an ‘Industry Merit Award’ at the AMVCAs 2016 where she gave a quite emotional speech which resulted to a standing ovation at the event – her moment – one many believe is the most touching in AMVCA history.
