With the way vr is getting popular, 256gb is the way to go. Most vr contents require ultra high definition, and with 4k phones coming out, a good quality vr video of 10 mins will take up to 1.5gb. So if u have 10 a 20mins video of 3gb that is 30gb. A full 360 degree movie will take much more space and vr games takes much space too. At the end of the day if u don't have big memory u can't enjoy vr.

What will I do with 256GB?

My first Laptop was 80GB Hard disk, back then I used to say 250GB is too much for me talk less of 500GB. But now, I'm using 500GB with external 500GB plus different memory cards range from 8-16GB and flash drive yet I still need more space.

Lie lie, 256Gb is the limit. grin grin grin grin grin grin

As my work requires, I do a lot of video shoots, 1TB is not even enough for me. If you have the need you will always need more space

256gig dats still small, we need one terabytes. Games and movies etc to be stored there.

you store that large amount of games and videos, then what? You won't play and wotch all before you start another hunt for the latest game/video.
Except if you are a heavy player.

That much memory for a phone i find useless.
Storing only pix, movies, games, apps, music.
You can't use all.
What you do mustly with your phone ditermines how much space you need.
Does who take lots of pix and video shoot need very large space. Compare to others who have 60 apps and end up utilizing only 10 of them.

I listen to lots of music, so i think 10GB worth of mp3 is perfectly okay.

This kind of capacity of card would mostly be used in Tablets, especially Windows tablets.

don't think it will be useful to most people on phones . who wants to be watching HD films on a phone.

You don't need to wipe your phone. That's all the memory ur phone got. Its not the original one and the displayed memory space is just to lure you into getting the phone. Same happened to me during GalaxyS4 regime...
Thank you,I wiped it already and the available space is now 26GB...I've been downloading and receiving big files since and I'm now happy with my S6 grin grin.....Samsung got branches in many countries.. I've seen UK,Vietnam and mine is just Korean...*lollipop *....Now I'm glad
