LOL in my country the PM MODI did a coup .

SERIOUSLY MANY DIED OF HEART ATTACK grin grin

he took out 500 and 1000 rupee note out of circulation .

in one stroke he is forcing near to 1 TRILLION DOLLARS of BLACK MONEY to be pumped back as TAXABLE and legit money.

major benefit he forced the Pakistani Indian fake money business run by them to suffer irrecoverably.

previously the material for the notes was sourced from abroad same as the Pakistan sourced from , so easier to duplicate the Indian money.

now the material has been develop in India and therefor foolproof and not imitable in quality.

Kashmir insurgency funding and drug trade and money laundering will stop now because the old notes will have to exchanged for new notes in the bank with proper ID and IT documents. from then on authorities will have a record to trail any money launderer and black money holder including terrorists and their supporters.

15 lakh crore (1 crore =10 million) notes of old 500 and 1000 are in circulation, the amount which will come back minus the primary amount will be black money being wielded out. Also after this amount is back the major portion will remain in banks thus this money is brought in the system and will be available for government to use

only last month one Pakistani (ISI accr. to India) was arrested in china by Indian and Chinese intelligence agents for distributing fake Indian currency notes, given china is friend of Pakistan still this fact did not stop them from arresting him because Chinese r above all good business men and nobody messes with their economy grin

the move was difficult only capable of been done by a very very good dictator (many corrupt political parties dont support it) grin grin grin grin

I saw this on Al Jazeera, it's a masterstroke extremely smart thinking by the PM and his cabinet. In Nigeria we also face taxation problems. For the size of our economy, tax to GDP is only 5%.

Most people in the informal sector don't pay income tax. This could help us.

What do you think about the Indonesian Frigate above?

You keep all your options one in your mind, when we all know you're Lachit of beegeagles blog, the Indian.

anyways, regarding the Damien Sigma Frigates built in Indonesia for the Indonesian navy. it is a good platform. the icing is the TOT and experience gained in building this platform in house provided it was not just nut and bolt job ( simple assembly) done in the country.

we must learn to separate the chaff from the wheat.

nigeria can cooperate with china and other countries to jointly build such platforms in house with real TOT not nut and bolt technology and then later go for JV in developing nigeria specific naval platforms designed and made in nigeria with foreign technical and other kind of consultancy etc. later u will be able to build and design platforms of similar or different class on ur own .

You don't know Lachit, but you know the threads at Beegeagle were moving backwards, and like Lachit you know Nigeria's Pidgin English. Nice try bro.

Asides being Indian, i know you are a pervert who can't do without Brazzers.com. LOL!

We all know you are Indian, you're the only person in denial.

I judge them(Indonesia) based on the KCR-60 and kCR-40 vessels, also the LHD built for the Philippine navy shows they got good shipbuilding capacity.

I doubt Damen would provide them full TOT, it might have been just assembly, but it's still a good feeling to have a ship of that size rolling off your shipyard.

For Nigeria, we only just started growing in 2006, and have had un-interrupted democracy for just 18 years. We still have a long way to go. If you look at my thread, i derive so much joy, and satisfaction in promoting the stuffs we produce. Yeah, many are basics both it shows how far we've come in defence manufacturing.

The deal we had with China was for them to build, partly NNS Unity right here in Nigeria, at the Port-Harcourt ship-yard, but unfortunately it didn't happen. Probably they didn't complete work on the Port-Harcourt ship yard in time. We may never know.

This 2016 the Nigerian navy has been able to order 120 units of 11 meters boats from local suppliers, this is commendable because in 2007, all our Inshore patrol Crafts were bought from abroad, mostly from Suncraft in Singapore.

Now, we are able to build vessels from 10 meters - 60 meters. This is a good thing for us, NNS Andoni(31 meters) and NNS Karaduwa (40 meters) represent the efforts we have put in service.

We are also supposed to get help from the Indian navy, earlier this year, we signed a contract to build in Nigeria an LST and a Hydrographic ship. If we go forward with this agreements, they would be additional milestones for Nigeria.

We've also setup a ship design and building bureau. So, I'm pretty optimistic that we would move forward.

indian will in a few months test its Semi Cryogenic Engine (SCE) using liquid oxygen (LOX) and ISROSENE (propellant-grade kerosene).

Semi-Cryogenic Engines replace liquid hydrogen with kerosene and using liquid oxygen and kerosene they are considered relatively environment friendly, non-toxic and non corrosive. In addition, the propellants for semi-cryogenic engine are safer to handle and store. It will also reduce the cost of launch operations.

This advanced propulsion technology is now available with 2 or 3 countries only. The world’s most powerful liquid engine, the Russian RD 170, is powered by a LOX - kerosene combination. India will be the third or fourth country in the world to develop a semi-cryogenic engine. LOX - Kerosene engines have powered several American launchers as well, including Saturn V, which carried American astronauts to the moon.

ISRO has already developed and successfully tested two indigenous Cryogenic Rocket Engines - CE-7.5 for GSLV Mark II & CE-20 for LVM3 - making India the sixth nation after US, Russia, France, Japan & China to develop an indigenous cryogenic engine.

i am posting this interview of Abhay Paranjape, National Executive for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Business Development in India

lol very seductive but not worth it according to my own opinion grin grin

1. Outline the major contours of L-M’s Make in India (MII) F-16 Block 70 offer.?
Lockheed Martin is offering India the exclusive opportunity to produce, operate and export F-16 Block 70 aircraft. Exclusive F-16 production in India would make India home to the world’s only F-16 production facility, a leading exporter of advanced fighter aircraft, and offer Indian industry the opportunity to become an integral part of the world’s largest fighter aircraft supply chain.

2. How does the current programme differ qualitatively from the M-MRCA programme, which also envisaged a major MII component?
Leveraging technologies from our 5th Generation fleet of aircraft, the F-16 Block 70 aircraft is the most technologically advanced F-16 ever offered. These advances include the APG-83 Active Electronically Scanned Array radar, a new high resolution center pedestal display, a new mission computer significantly enhancing processing and storage capacity, and a new 1 gigabit Ethernet databus. Further leveraging recent structural life extension efforts performed for the U.S. Air Force, the F-16 Block 70 will deliver a 50 percent or more increase in additional service life to 12,000 hours or beyond – a significant increase over competing aircraft. From an industrial program perspective, Lockheed Martin’s offer to move all future F-16 production to India is unprecedented, as it would place Indian industry at the center of the world’s most extensive fighter aircraft supply base. None of our competitors can offer that.

3. How does L-M address concerns that the F-16, albeit upgraded, is a legacy fighter at the end of its active life?
[IMG]The F-16 is the most combat proven aircraft in history and the F-16 Block 70 is the most technologically advanced F-16 ever offered. The updated avionics suite leverages technologies developed as a part of Lockheed Martin’s efforts on our fleet of 5th Generation fighter aircraft. Major elements of these advanced avionics are included in major upgrades for multiple F-16 customers around the world and already slated for integration on more than 300 aircraft that will be flown for decades. These elements will also form the basis for upgrades and aircraft life extension for U.S. Air Force F-16 aircraft as they seek to operate their fleet for 30-plus years into the future. Global demand for new production F-16 aircraft also remains strong in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and South America.

4. If the Indian government presses a single-engine stipulation, the F-16 could square off against the Gripen NG. What’s your pitch on how the F-16 Block 70 over the Gripen NG?
Lockheed Martin is the recognized leader in the design, development and manufacture of the world’s most technologically advanced fighter aircraft. The F-16 Block 70 aircraft leverages avionics technologies from our 5th Generation fighter aircraft to deliver an aircraft with unrivaled speed, agility, range, and payload. We offer proven, unmatched experience developing international fighter production capacity having previously established F-16 production lines in four countries and F-35 production lines in two countries. Our offer to establish exclusive F-16 production in India to meet worldwide demand for new F-16 aircraft is without precedent and the opportunity for Indian companies to play a major role in the industrial base that supplies necessary parts for a global fleet of more than 3,200 aircraft is unmatched.

5. Pakistan operates F-16s and looks to operate more. Would the future of Pakistan’s fleet be in Indian hands in the event of a successful MII F-16 programme?
As has always been the case, future F-16 production decisions would be subject to government-to-government discussions.

6. Sweden’s Saab has sweetened its Gripen pitch to India by offering Gallium-Nitride (GaN) radar technology as a spin-off. How does Lockheed-Martin propose to beef up its offering?
Lockheed Martin’s F-16 offer to India—the exclusive opportunity to produce, operate and export F-16 Block 70 aircraft—is without precedent. In addition to proposing the most technologically advanced F-16 ever offered to the Indian Air Force, exclusive F-16 production in India extends this Make in India opportunity beyond mere “assemble in India” or “manufacture in India,” to a long-term industrial opportunity for India. Our experience developing fighter production capacity around the world is unmatched. Lockheed Martin has previously established F-16 production lines in four countries and F-35 production lines in two countries. Our F-16 offer also includes the unmatched opportunity for Indian companies to play a major role in the industrial base that supplies parts for a global fleet of more than 3,200 aircraft. The long-term effect of establishing the sole F-16 production line in India will be to position Indian industry as a major contributor in the production of components and sub-components necessary to support the growing worldwide F-16 fleet.

BENAULIM (GOA): With military deals worth about Rs 60,000 crore signed and sealed with India here, Russia is hopeful that another big ticket agreement on Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft will be inked by year-end.

"The agreement had been completed on our end, we are ready to sign it. It is now down to the Indian side.

"There are some formalities to figure out, but I think it will be signed by the end of this year," Sergei Chemezov, CEO of Rostec State Corporation a Russian umbrella organisation of 700 hi-tech civilian and military firms, said here.

After a hiatus of nearly a year, India and Russia had in February revived talks on the much delayed FGFA project after a clearance from Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar.

Since then, a lot of issues related to work share, IPR and technology transfer among others have been sorted out between the two sides along with the monetary commitments.

Under the new offer, India will have to pay about $3.7 billion, instead of $ 6 billion, for the technological know-how and three prototypes of the fighters, defence sources have said.

In 2010, India had agreed to pay $295 million towards the preliminary design of the fighter, called in India as Perspective Multi-role Fighter (PMF).

"The FGFA project will produce a state of the art fighter jet, and it will be the result of the work on Russia's most modern technology done by both Russian and Indian engineers and constructors," Chemezov said.

"As a Fifth Generation, it means fifth generation speed, ballistics and military equipment, avionics and stealth capabilities among other qualities," he said.

"It shall be on a par with the capabilities of Russia's PAK-FA T-50 aircraft, a Fifth-Generation fighter but as it will be designed in the next few years, it is likely to exceed it in some specifics.

"Our technology is always developing," the Russia's top defence industry official said.

The long-term effect of establishing the sole F-16 production line in India will be to position Indian industry as a major contributor in the production of components and sub-components necessary to support the growing worldwide F-16 fleet.

all that glitters is not gold.

I have a feeling this deal will cause trouble in the future
