Women are generally expected to stand behind a man, they are to be seen and not heard; in some places, they shouldn't even be seen. From a very tender age, they are taught that the only things they are needed for are child bearing and home management. Any woman that tries to branch out of this stereotyped life is labelled LovePeddler, prostitue, slut, wayward or any other demeaning name or attribute they can come up with it. Career is life or death, while a home is second. Without a Career there's no home. Career is the most important and number 1 before any other thing. |
