Today is my fourth year wedding anniversary and when I was back in Nigeria I don't even have a joint account but save all money in here account and I have not seen any reason to fear. First no the wife you have before you do it or not. I can spend everything without looking back but she will tell me you most save. Get the best wife and you will have rest of mind.

A girl once told me "my money is our money and her money will be her money". joint acct isn't a bad idea. Aside having separate personal accts, a joint acct will take care of the speculative and precautionary need of money.
