The Moon has been sighted in some Nigerian cities e.g. Maiduguri, Dutse, Makarfi, e.tc. Consequent upon this, in line with the laid down Islamic Rules, 20th September, 2009 is 1st Shawwal, 2009 Which is also the Eid -al- Fitr day I wish to congratulate all Muslims on the completion of Ramadan 1430.
