At no point was Hitler atheist. He only believed Christianity to be a mockery of Godhead. He always believed in a Higher Power. Disdain for Christianity does not equate atheism.

Lol chai this guy is so far from comprehending anything. A freethinker is one who forms opinions (usually in the context of religion) on the basis of reason independent of authority. He/She is not necessarily an atheist, agnostic, or anti-religion.

Per your screengrab i think you need to find out for yourself what the german Bureau on church matters was all about before you exhibit your ignorance. My convo with you is done. I just gave you a few more posts for sake of courtesy as you cannot grasp or assimilate the simplest of discussions not even when you own the links and gave them to me.

I thought I was the only one that noticed grin .

This is the full comment so stop lying

Gates was interviewed November 1995 on PBS by David Frost. Below is the transcript with minor edits.

Frost: Do you believe in the Sermon on the Mount?

Gates: I don't. I'm not somebody who goes to church on a regular basis. The specific elements of Christianity are not something I'm a huge believer in. There's a lot of merit in the moral aspects of religion. I think it can have a very very positive impact.

Frost: I sometimes say to people, do you believe there is a god, or do you know there is a god? And, you'd say you don't know?

Gates: In terms of doing things I take a fairly scientific approach to why things happen and how they happen. I don't know if there's a god or not, but I think religious principles are quite valid.

He goes to church but not regularly.

You're the only one, I ignored his atheist vs freethinker because its a very dishonest question intended to derail

Here

The German Freethinkers League aim was to provide a public meeting-ground and forum for materialist and atheist thinkers in Germany.

And

The League was closed down in the spring of 1933, when Hitler outlawed all atheistic and freethinking groups in Germany.

He's now asking the difference between freethinkers and atheists?

Now, an intelligent person can see that his question has little to no bearing

Lol this guy calls it western propaganda when Hitler himself was the chief propagandist and though initially it was difficult to read him eventually he was read and his very fruits spoke loudly. Too loudly to ignore. A mans words do not make Him....His actions do because an Action is a stronger expression than words are.

You seem to be confused

Its funny how you dishonestly ignored the first part of it and quoted the second and las part to make your point

An atheist refused to let atheists into the country but let religionists through? What does that tell you?
grin

Don't mind him he is confused

Show me Bill Gates quoting from the bible

Yet your brothers KingEbuka and Naijadeyhia and winner01 label him "Christian".

Hypocrites
Sometimes I try to imagine you as a sincere person. But when I see how you jump to anything anti christian, it makes me reconsider. I'm dead sure you have more christian quotes to your name than this man.

Once the op mentions the date Hitler made those comments, the thread will refute itself.
I have Hitlers anti christian comments and their dates, and ill love to see his christian comments after those dates.

There is hardly any atheist here that has no christian quote to his name, its not just recorded.
Be sincere and people will take you serious. This is why I use memes.

You don't seem to understand the hypocrisy here, do you?

Who is a Christian?

That answer would show the hypocrisy I'm talking about

When you call someone that did bad but identifies as Christian as not a Christian because "Christian" is "Christlike" you put yourself in a catch 22 because ONLY you can know if you're "Christlike", even you don't know if KingEbuka is a Christian by that definition

But you guys are quick to call bill gates a Christian when its convenient

Call certain good people " Christian " when its convenient

But if tomorrow bill gates kills millions of people, you guys would definitely make a U turn and say he was Never a Christian, he had always been atheist

I hope you get my drift

I just want you guys to simply be consistent

Cheers

This reminds of a certain religion that was founded by an illiterate pedophile rapist 1400 years ago. What was the rapists name?

grin This makes me laugh real hard.

Let me clarify you. Adolf hitler killed more catholics, Jews and Christians than any denominations. Stop passing your judgement with baseless and futile low ideology you call reasoning and points.

https://en.m.wikiquote.org/wiki/Religious_views_of_Adolf_Hitler

Now I would like you to read this part

Hitler was NOT a Christian. He hated Christianity. If he made any public remarks in support of Christianity, that was because he was in public and would lie or obfuscate to appease a crowd at times.

Now see this part again

It’s Christianity that’s the liar. It’s in perpetual conflict with itself.” –Hitler’s Table Talk, pg 61
Now see this part again
As far as we are concerned, we’ve succeeded in chasing the Jews from our midst and excluding Christianity from our political life.” –Hitler’s Table Talk, pg 394

Now close with this part again

There is something very unhealthy about Christianity.” –Hitler’s Table Talk, pg 418

And this part

Christianity is the worst of the regressions that mankind can ever have undergone, and it’s the Jew who, thanks to this diabolic invention, has thrown him back fifteen centuries.” –Hitler’s Table Talk, pg 322

This post of yours is stupid. Doesn't hold water. I will defend christianity if these people are too weak to defend the faith. I'm a christian, an Anglo Catholic and Orthodox Christian to the teeth. And I will die as one. Islam holds no stand against the greatest religion in this world, not even you can stop the shine of almighty Jehovah. I encourage you not to read the bible (as it's censored by your imams) but go watch the movie 'The Bible' and clear your doubts. After every thing the Romans did to the Jews and christianity it's still the biggest religion on earth. You haven't seen anything.

grin Try harder next time.

@whytelyon,

Which "Table Talk" are you referring to?

Is it the one that says on Page 6, "We do not want to educate anyone in Atheism?"

@whtytelyon, for a million bucks, who made the above statement?
Re: For Those Who Claim Bishop Adolf Hitler Was An Atheist by HajimeSaito(m): 2:15am On Jan 30, 2018
abduljabbar4:
On several occasions, mostly when we are discussing about Islam and terrorism, the Christians come out to confidently tell me that saint Adolf Hitler was an atheist. I invite them now to come and tell me how a person who made these statements actually doesn't believe in Yahweh:

“The anti-Semitism of the new
movement (Christian Social movement)
was based on religious ideas instead of
racial knowledge.”

[Adolf Hitler, “Mein Kampf”, Vol. 1,
Chapter 3]

“I believe today that I am acting in the
sense of the Almighty
Creator. By warding off the Jews I am
fighting for the Lord’s work.”

[Adolph Hitler, Speech, Reichstag, 1936]

“I have followed [the Church] in giving
our party program the
character of unalterable finality, like the
Creed. The Church has
never allowed the Creed to be interfered
with. It is fifteen hundred
years since it was formulated, but every
suggestion for its
amendment, every logical criticism, or
attack on it, has been
rejected. The Church has realized that
anything and everything can be
built up on a document of that sort, no
matter how contradictory or
irreconcilable with it. The faithful will
swallow it whole, so long
as logical reasoning is never allowed to
be brought to bear on it.”

[Adolf Hitler, from Rauschning, _The
Voice of Destruction_, pp. 239-40]

“My feelings as a Christian points me to
my Lord and Savior as a
fighter. It points me to the man who
once in loneliness, surrounded
by a few followers, recognized these Jews
for what they were and
summoned men to fight against them
and who, God’s truth! was greatest
not as a sufferer but as a fighter. In
boundless love as a Christian
and as a man I read through the
passage which tells us how the Lord
at last rose in His might and seized the
scourge to drive out of the
Temple the brood of vipers and adders.
How terrific was his fight
against the Jewish poison. Today, after
two thousand years, with
deepest emotion I recognize more
profoundly than ever before the fact
that it was for this that He had to shed
his blood upon the Cross. As
a Christian I have no duty to allow myself
to be cheated, but I have
the duty to be a fighter for truth and
justice… And if there is
anything which could demonstrate that
we are acting rightly, it is
the distress that daily grows. For as a
Christian I have also a duty
to my own people. And when I look on
my people I see them work and
work and toil and labor, and at the end
of the week they have only
for their wages wretchedness and
misery. When I go out in the morning
and see these men standing in their
queues and look into their
pinched faces, then I believe I would be
no Christian, but a very
devil, if I felt no pity for them, if I did not,
as did our Lord two
thousand years ago, turn against those
by whom today this poor people
are plundered and exposed.”

[Adolf Hitler, speech in Munich on April
12, 1922, countering a
political opponent, Count Lerchenfeld,
who opposed antisemitism on
his personal Christian feelings. Published
in “My New Order”, quoted
in Freethought Today April 1990]

“I believe today that my conduct is in
accordance with the will of
the Almighty Creator.”

[Adolph Hitler, _Mein Kampf_, pp. 46]

“What we have to fight for…is the
freedom and independence of the
fatherland, so that our people may be
enabled to fulfill the mission
assigned to it by the Creator.”

[Adolph Hitler, _Mein Kampf_, pp. 125]

“This human world of ours would be
inconceivable without the
practical existence of a religious belief.”

[Adolph Hitler, _Mein Kampf_, pp.152]

“And the founder of Christianity made no
secret indeed of his
estimation of the Jewish people. When
He found it necessary, He drove
those enemies of the human race out of
the Temple of God.”

[Adolph Hitler, _Mein Kampf_, pp.174]

“Catholics and Protestants are fighting
with one another… while the
enemy of Aryan humanity and all
Christendom is laughing up his sleeve.”

[Adolph Hitler, _Mein Kampf_, pp.309]

“I am now as before a Catholic and will
always remain so”

[Adolph Hitler, to Gen. Gerhard Engel,
1941]

“Any violence which does not spring
from a spiritual base, will be
wavering and uncertain. It lacks the
stability which can only rest in
a fanatical outlook.”

[Adolph Hitler, _Mein Kampf_, p. 171]

“I had excellent opportunity to intoxicate
myself with the solemn
splendor of the brilliant church festivals.
As was only natural, the
abbot seemed to me, as the village priest
had once seemed to my
father, the highest and most desirable
ideal.”

[Adolf Hitler, “Mein Kampf”, Vol. 1,
Chapter 1]

“I was not in agreement with the sharp
anti-Semitic tone, but from
time to time I read arguments which
gave me some food for thought. At
all events, these occasions slowly made
me acquainted with the man
and the movement, which in those days
guided Vienna’s destinies: Dr.
Karl Lueger and the Christian Social
Party.”

[Adolf Hitler, “Mein Kampf”, Vol. 1,
Chapter 2]

“…the unprecedented rise of the
Christian Social Party… was to
assume the deepest significance for me
as a classical object of study.”

[Adolf Hitler, “Mein Kampf”, Vol. 1,
Chapter 3]

Look at this blockhead byproduct of animal coupling. Hitler's party was called the NATIONAL Socialist Party, but you removed the NATIONAL and added Christian to the party name. You're just like the "man" in my DP. He lived a life of lies and immorality too.

These were Hitler's REAL allies:
