I unlocked my Spectranet b310s-927 but noticed I no longer get signal when I insert the spectranet SIM. Other networks (such as Ntel) which I've tested work fine. The spectranet SIM was working prior to unlocking, so any suggestions please?

Manually create a new APN using the following, APN Name: Spectranet NG, APN:spectranet, Username: test1@spectranet.com.ng, Password: test1 or alternatively you can leave username and password blank, it still works okay.

But hope whosoever unlocked your router flashed the webui cos if you accept a webui update from spectranet using their default webui, u'll have to go and unlock the router again. Hope this helps. Cheers

It's not the APN that was the problem, for some reason the router was not seeing spectranet's frequency. When I did a manual search for available networks I could only see other service providers. Anyway, I did a firmware upgrade using a universal firmware and that solved the problem.

Hope you change those values back to the original?, otherwise it will enter engineering mode in due course and only mKey dongle can fix that.

Yes...that's like E5172.

But It would only work with 3G networks after unlocking it

Yeah, it won't,...there are 2 types of the E5172

1. E5172s-920
2. E5172Bs-925

The one with 920 is the only one that will even work with 3G networks after unlock, the one with 925 would not work with any network after unlock.

I do advice client with hope of using 4G networks not to bother themselves unlocking it
