The Nigerian Army has declared the trio of Ahmed Salkida (Ambassador), Ahmed U. Bolori and Aisha Wakil wanted. According to a statement signed by Colonel Sani K. Usman, Acting Director, Army Public Relations, the trio have been declared wanted because they are in possession of information on the conditions and the exact location of schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram from Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, in 2014. The Army said its action is based on relevant laws.

"We are relying on the relevant laws of the land and in particular the Terrorism Prevention Act 2011 (as amended), where Nigerians could be punished for failure to disclose information about terrorists or terrorist activities.

"This becomes necessary as a result of their link with the last two videos released by Boko Haram terrorists and other findings of our preliminary investigations," the statement said.
There Army added that it is certain that the wanted persons have links with Boko Haram terrorists and have contact with them.

"They must, therefore, come forward and tell us where the group is keeping the Chibok Girls and other abducted persons to enable us to rescue them," the statement added.

The Army called on the general public to provide information on the whereabouts of the wanted persons, adding that it is working with other security agencies for their arrest if they fail to turn up. Mr. Salkida is a notable Nigerian journalist who has remained a credible source of information about Boko Haram activities. He has occasionally acted as a negotiator between the Nigerian government and Boko Haram militants betfore going on exile.

Mr. Salkida has remained active from exile providing up to date information and free advice on Boko Haram activities.

What stops this Salkida from revealing the position of the terrorists apart from untrustworthy nature of Nigerian sccurity agents. Most Nigerians refuse to report criminals because the same people you report to would still leak your details thereby putting you and your family members lives on the line.

Nigeria system is in a mess! They want Salkida to disclose his source and then they will leak that to the BH and Salkida will be murdered by BH, then we will have no more direct info from BH
Why can't they just act on the info that Salkida provides and do their job instead of harrasing innocent person up and down?
Arresting, detaining, or killing Salkida will never stop BH, rather it will escalate their terror actions!

Yes he knows too much because BH need a trusted person to pass information and they found such in Salkida, it is then left for the Nigerian securities to work, covertly, with Salkida in order to get to BH instead of all this open show of senselesness!

You would sit down in your room, create a lie and incredibly believe the same lie.

How do you know the guy is innocent?

Are you a member of military intelligence or NSA?

Why do people on nairaland always assume they know better than the people on the field practising their chosen vocation?

Official Post From NA.

The world is quite aware of the abduction of several persons; women, children and men, including the female students of Government Secondary School Chibok, Borno State Nigeria by Boko Haram Terrorists group. Consequently, appeal was made for their unconditional release by the Federal Government. The military also made concerted efforts to rescue them.

We also appealed to Nigerians that have any information to volunteer to the military or security agencies to enable us rescue them.

However, two recent incidents have pointed to the fact that, there are three individuals namely; Ahmed Salkida, (Ambassador) Ahmed U. Bolori and Aisha Wakil that have information on the conditions and the exact location of these girls.

Therefore, the Nigerian Army hereby declare the two gentlemen and the lady wanted for interrogation. We are relying on the relevant laws of the land and in particular the Terrorism Prevention Act 2011 (as amended) where Nigerians could be punished for failure to disclose information about terrorists or terrorists activities.

This become necessary as a result of their link with the last two videos released by Boko Haram Terrorists and other findings of our preliminary investigations.

There is no doubt that these individuals have links with Boko Haram Terrorists and have contacts with them. They must therefore come forward and tell us where the group is keeping the Chibok Girls and other abducted persons to enable us rescue them.
We are therefore calling on all Nigerians and peace loving people to give us useful information on their whereabouts. We are also liaising with other security agencies for their arrest if they failed to turn up.

You are please requested to kindly disseminate this information to the public through your medium.

Thank you for your kind and usual cooperation.

Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman Acting Director Army Public Relations.

You now see why no one would give lead info on a wanted /kidnapped person even if the bounty is 1billa? That's cos our forces would turn around and accuse you of being an accomplice to the crime.
Ahmed Sidika as a journalist is allowed into enemy territory and is not supposed to be victimized for that.
I thought the army once boasted that they had BH & Chibok girls exact location, what then do they need Sidika for?
I remember Obasanjo twice went to visit Shekau to negotiate a ceasefire , why hasn't he been declared wanted?
Amina Nkekki or whatever her name is just came out from Sambisa Forest, weren't they able to extract sufficient info from her too? Make una just negodu, wetin concern me sef

Salkida is now a villain cheesy grin

Except they are very sure of his links to the group, not just because he was the first to release details of the latest video, then they are on a long thing because Interpol won't issue an arrest warrant for him. They should go and kidnap him from Dubai undecided
