Transformation Era Vs Change Era .............. by ehissi(m): 4:06pm On Aug 16, 2016 |
Even Nigerian artists are feeling the change as e dey hot....which way Nigeria. Under Goodluck Jonathan. TRANSFORMATION ERA (AKA Fresh air) Orezi: $1million in my pocket. Davido: Emi Omo baba olowo. Under Buhari. CHANGE ERA(I belong to everybody and I belong to nobody - not even Aisha, talkless of Tinubu -) Orezi: alaye double your Hustle Davido: Biko yem Ego Isn't it about time that technocrats, wailing wailers and hailing hailers begin to constructively use criticisms to take on this government. From our budget which is now experiencing menstrual flow and is constantly being padded, to the billions that have been returned from looting looters from the losers circle only (Aka PDP) and yet government is still borrowing to fund budgets (I said budgets cos I am sure which version of the budget we are using, whether light, medium or heavy padded) to the "Abacha is not a thief gospel", to "government is silently working out the fulani crisis", to the never ending prosecution of dasuki, to Mrs " we will continue to stimulate the economy till it recovers", to the United states of Nigeria and TSA, to "Technical defeats and victories" of Islamic terrorists meanwhile ISIS is now in full command in Nigeria and has stretched it hold from Sambisa to maiduguri to bauchi. I, amongst many Nigerians who no sabi run like usain bolt and whey no get dual citizenship, a "quarter" caste and not half caste (From Edo state, raised in Lagos and ibadan, lived with igbos and served in Jos) am not ready to do refugee in this country nor anywhere in the world for that matter. My advise is: can we Nairalanders as well begin to show more consideration for the facts on ground and begin to focus more on providing room for criticism of this government. No lies, no assumptions, no anonymous sources from presidency or efcc or apc, no media blitz or "Lai Mohammed Facts". Just the facts. A smart Journalist on CNN once said "everyone is entitled to their own truths but no one is entitled to their own facts". Let us remember that as long as we are in the country our peace is tied to it. If it has peace, we in it will have peace; if it doesn't, we won't Please lets us look objectively and constructively (at this point I wish I was a paid mod, at least I will have access to the ban and unban button) . I will like us to look at the state of the Nation as a whole and ask ourselves honestly if the Nation as a whole - and not buhari as an individual - is on track. If it is, state why. If it isn't, what do you think we need to do to put it back on track. Feel free to reference Jonathan but we are not talking about Jonathan nor his administration. For those who can't remember, he handled power from 2010 and handed over power May 29 2015 to Gen Buhari rtd. Buhari became president from may 29 2015 till date (17 months plus). He is in review. All those who feel the country is not on track click like, all those who feel the country is on track click share and state your reasons. I believe there are probably graduates in here (who never lost their original certificates; if you know what I mean - just a joke -) 1 Like |

Start by criticising those who stole your billions and the FG and state governments who refused to save. Then go on and criticise those who have threatened to bring the economy of the country to zero and are currently doing so by bombing pipelines. We used to export 2.3 m barrels a day at $105 per barrel. We are now on 800,000 barrels a day at $42 per barrel. Do the sums BTW, you maths is very poor. It will be 15 months on the 28th of August. Buhari became president from may 29 2015 till date (17 months plus). He is in review. |
