It's a year and three months since General Muhammadu Buhari assumed office as Nigeria's president. It was an extremely competitive election between Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GEJ) and General Muhammadu Buhari (GMB), which saw the former president conceding to defeat.


Hopes were high among supporters of GMB when he initially assumed office, but many Nigerians are beginning to lose faith in the current administration, saying they would have voted for GEJ, had they known that events would turn out this way for Nigeria's economy under GMB'S leadership, claiming that GEJ was the better option.



However, some supporters of GMB claim that they have no regrets voting for him, because the other option was a no-go area.



So, let's assume another presidential election were to be held today and the ONLY contesting candidates are General Muhammadu Buhari (GMB) of APC and Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GEJ) of PDP, who would you vote for?

It's desperation and absence of any worthy candidate that could make anyone use stone as an opponent.

I don't think you can compare other so-called threads with this OP's own. Saying who would you vote for between Buhari and Stone only shows unseriousness and stupidity! On a lighter note, it is just another comedy.
BTW, even if there are other threads like this, it is not bad bringing up threads like this once in a while. It is an objective way of measuring the current administration's performance from time to time, and sampling people's opinions if there are gradual improvements or not.

Although you may be PARTIALLY right in saying that it shows the level of apathy, you should as well be smart enough to know that level of apathy for a candidate does not totally determines whom the people vote for. Whom the people vote for is majorly deternined by the personalities of the candidates. If an election is held in Nigeria among Abubakar Shekau, Osama bin Laden, and Abacha; people would most likely vote for Abacha regardless of their apathy towards him. This is because they feel that he is the best option available. Those who chose Buhari did so not because they felt that he was the best available option, not because he was a messiah. Wole Soyinka said both Buhari and Jonathan were evil, but Buhari was the better option between both evils!
BTW, voting for Stone in this situation over Buhari might not even signify any level of apathy. Of course, several people would have clicked "like" for stone out of fun. The stone winning the vote would make it more comic, not serious.
