Guardiola's Plan For Gundogan Should Get City Fans Excited

Ilkay Gundogan was the first signing of the summer by Guardiola. A top quality midfielder. Gundogan joined Manchester City unfit but we expect him to play a key role for Manchester City when he recovers. As a player expected to start regularly for the team, his role in the starting line up seemed a dilemma for the new City Boss.

Just like Guardiola showed with Sterling, it seems the former Barcelona Boss knows where to play Gundogan to get the most of him.

Sterling played better than he did last season since he started working with Guardiola. This was one of the improvements noticed in the squad of Manchester City since Guardiola took over the team. Last season and during the European Championships, Sterling received criticisms that he was not worth his price tag. Guardiola showed he knew the right place and way to play Sterling. This showed how important Sterling is to Manchester City's dream of European glory.

Guardiola hinted he knew the role to play Gundogan and it seems exciting.

Over the years, Gundogan was part of a brilliant playing Borussia Dortmund team. He operated as a deep-lying playmaker. His contributions were immense and he drew praises from football lovers and pundits.

I expected Gundogan to continue operating the way he did at Bayern, replacing the respected Manchester City midfield legend Yaya Toure. With Yaya Toure missing the first three games of the season, I expected Gundogan to fill the void created by Yaya Toure's absence.

Gundogan is on course to make his Manchester City debut in the Manchester Derby game, after his battle with a dislocated kneecap which kept him out of the preseason preparations and the first three games.

Fernandinho excelled in the previous games this season. He played well as a deep-lying midfielder, behind David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne. They also played brilliantly in the first three games.

Finding where Gundogan will fit into the new-look Manchester City under Guardiola looked challenging but Guardiola revealed he knew how he wanted to use to former Borussia Dortmund midfield maestro.

Manchester Evening News revealed that Pep Guardiola said Gundogan is a great player and there will be times where he would play as a deep-lying playmaker. Guardiola revealed he will prefer Gundogan playing a more creative role with the team.

This means we should expect to see Gundogan playing along Silva, Sterling, De Bruyne and Navas. We should expect a competition for positions around the creative midfield role.

This should excite the City fans. Guardiola tweaks the set up of his players to get them performing better. We saw Kolarov play in central defence, Clichy and Sagna drifting into the midfield when we attacked.

The team played better and Kolarov looks an improved player from what we saw of him last season.

Sterling is flying high and we hope he maintains his form and passion. I expect this switch in role of Ilkay Gundogan to make him play better than he did at Borussia Dortmund.

If things go as planned, we might see an improved player from the Borussia Dortmund midfield maestro we signed. This gets me very excited and I can not wait to see Gundogan play in this new role.

We will still see Gundogan in his familiar deep-lying midfield role but when he plays in a creative role, we should expect to see something special from Ilkay Gundogan.

Guradiola will have a sleepless night tonight I've his undeserved treatment to Hart. He had the whole fans behind him and pls I'll watch as Bravo replaces him.

oh I've forgotten that Mourinho also treated Casillas similarly.

Time for Goalkeepers to be respected by coaches.

It's simply not fair atall.

Joe Hart is poor in distributing the ball. He is an old fashioned top goalkeeper. A legend of the club and he is dear to our hearts.

The Executives of the Cityzens brought Guardiola in to make tough decisions to make the club play his way. Joe Hart can not give Guardiola the kind of play Guardiola needs.

It has to do with the quality of the play.

But as good a shot-stopper as he is, it was Neuer's ability with the ball at his feet which made him such a perfect fit for Guardiola's possession-heavy style of football.

In 97 league appearances over the last three seasons, the 30-year-old played a total of 2,077 short passes to his team-mates - almost four times at many as Hart (562), who was replaced by Willy Caballero on Saturday.

Guardiola Dropping Joe Hart Is A Frustrating But Right Decision

When we think back of how far we came as a club to where we are, the thought is a joyous one. From a club people did not expect to win titles to a club dreaming of European glory. This shows the massive strides taken by members of this club.

This was also down to players who gave their all to make Manchester City grow. Aguero, Yaya Toure, Kolarov, Dzeko, Kolo Toure, Kompany, Silva and many others.

In all these, there was Joe Hart. When we think of the Aguero moment. After Aguero’s last minute strike gave Manchester City their first English Premier League title, we remember Joe Hart running in a circle. Joe Hart was ecstatic that the efforts, hard work and determination of the team paid off.

Joe Hart contributed to our rise. He made a lot of brilliant performances that led us to where we are today. It is sad but it seems we are drawing the curtain on his remarkable career at the Etihad.

In the second leg game between Manchester City and Steaua Bucharest, the Manchester City Fans chanted, "Don't Sell Joe Hart." A clear sign of their frustration of their hero leaving.

Joe Hart appeared to wave good-bye after the game and it seemed the wishes of seeing more of Joe Hart in the post for Manchester City might not come true.

Reports says Claudio Bravo, the 33 years old goalkeeper of Barcelona is on his way to Manchester City for a £17 million fee.

Guardiola sees Claudio Bravo as the right choice for Manchester City because Guardiola prefers his team to play a possession-heavy style. Guardiola believes Joe Hart does not suit this system and it is right Guardiola drops him for a player who fits into his system.

Manchester Evening News revealed Guardiola said he analysed the team and his decision to drop Joe Hart is best for the team.

The Executives of the club brought in Guardiola to improve the team with his playing style. If Joe Hart can not give him what he needs, then the right choice is to let Joe Hart go.

It is a frustrating decision for the fans who love Joe Hart but it is the best decision for the club if we are going to succeed playing Guardiola's way.

If we are to play the possession-heavy style Guardiola wants, then we need a Goal Keeper like Claudio Bravo. It is sad Joe Hart does not fit into the system and we might lose our hero.

Joe Hart Appeared To Bid Farewell To Manchester City

Joe Hart spoke for the first time about his possible departure from the Etihad after the Steaua Bucharest second leg Champions League Qualification match.

His words felt like he appreciated the faithful Manchester City Fans who chanted "Don't Sell Joe Hart" during the game. This also felt like a good-bye message.

Joe Hart appeared to wave good-bye to the Etihad crowd while his possible replacement, Claudio Bravo watched from the stands.

Joe Hart revealed how he felt after Manchester City secured their Qualification with a 1-0 victory over Steaua Bucharest. This booked a right place for Manchester City in the Champions League, where we should compete regularly in.

The confirmation Claudio Bravo's transfer from Barcelona to Manchester City is due on Thursday and we expect Joe Hart, the Manchester City goalkeeping hero to leave the Etihad before the Summer transfer window closes.

The Manchester City Fans gave Joe Hart an emotional farewell and their actions moved the English number one goalkeeper to acknowledge the effect of their support on him.

Manchester Evening News reported Joe Hart's heart-felt message to the fans, saying it was a special night for him and he had lots of good nights playing for Manchester City.

It is nice seeing that he is handling the situation well even though from the looks of things surrounding his departure, he does not want to leave.

The Etihad is a great place for Joe Hart. It was a place he grew as a goalkeeper into one of the best in the world. Even though he might leave the Etihad, Manchester City will always be his home.

He served the club well and it is sad we are bidding farewell to his trusted hands.

Things like this happens when a club goes through changes. We brought Guardiola to bring in a possession-heavy system of play and Guardiola believes Joe Hart Is not capable of delivering what he wants from a goalkeeper.

It is nice that the coaches and Joe Hart are handling the situation well. We expect a solution that will benefit the club and Joe Hart.

Yaya, Nasri, Bony And Mangala Battle For One Spot In The Official Squad

Pep Guardiola will sort out who takes the available spot for the non-homegrown players in the Manchester City team after Claudio Bravo will take one of the spots.

In the 25 man squad list of Manchester City, there is space for 17 non-homegrown players. Manchester City has 19 non-homegrown players after the signings of Nolito, Leroy Sane and Ilkay Gundogan. Signing Claudio Bravo from Barcelona will increase the number of the non-homegrown players to 20.

From the first three games, these are the 19 non-homegrown players Guardiola might keep.

Claudio Bravo, Willy Caballero, Aleksandar Kolarov, Bacary Sagna, Pablo Zabaleta, Vincent Kompany, Nicolas Otamendi, Fernando, Fernandinho, Ilkay Gundogan, Leroy Sane, David Silva, Nolito, Kevin De Bruyne, Jesus Navas, Sergio Aguero.

This leaves Yaya Toure, Samir Nasri, Bony and Mangala battling for the last spot.

It seems Yaya Toure is the one who will stay at the Etihad after Guardiola selected him to start in the second leg of the Champions League play off game against Steaua Bucharest.

If we also consider the high wages Yaya earns at Manchester City, it will prove difficult for another team to meet the wage demands of Yaya Toure.

Guardiola was not happy with Nasri's weight gain when he arrived the camp. The New City Boss did not name Nasri in any of the starting line up during the preseason games and the first games of the season. So we expect Nasri to leave.

Bony and Mangala look out of favor with Guardiola so we expect them to leave the club soon.

These guys served Manchester City to the best of their abilities and we wish them the best if they stay or leave.

A Good Hart Is Hard To Find: Bravo Under Pressure

Claudio Bravo, the New Manchester City keeper will come under pressure when he makes his debut against West Ham United on Sunday. Most Fans of Manchester City will fix their eyes on the keeper to see why Guardiola felt he was the right replacement for the heroic Joe Hart.

Claudio Bravo had a heart-felt exit from Barcelona. The athletic keeper built a reputation at Camp Nou that made his departure from the club challenging and a target of Guardiola. Guardiola wants a keeper who can distribute the ball from the back.

Bravo is a keeper who operates like Manuel Neuer as a sweeper-keeper. Starting attacks for the team with brilliant distributions of the ball. This is a key part of the possession-heavy style of Guardiola.

Some fans may not quickly accept Bravo because of the way they feel Joe Hart left Manchester City. Joe Hart Is an iconic hero of the club with lots of fans. Many expected him to stay longer in the club but Pep Guardiola had other plans. Some consider Guardiola's treatment of Hart harsh and brutal. They will look for reasons to criticise the signing of Claudio Bravo.

With the Hart fans still hooked on Joe Hart and the English fans who are not comfortable with the departure of the English number one from where he became popular, every move, pass and save of Bravo will attract comparisons.

The new City keeper, Claudio Bravo should focus on delivering what Guardiola wants from him. The criticism and judgment do not count. What counts is Bravo doing what he did at Barcelona that made his departure teary and heart-felt like the emotional good-bye of Joe Hart. This will make the Manchester City Fans fall in love with him quickly.

Who left Barcelona to Join Manchester City? CLAUDIO BRAVO.

Sam Allardyce, the current English Boss said he will drop Joe Hart from the number one position if Joe Hart Is not a regular starter. Guardiola believes Joe Hart could learn the foot works. Joe Hart had a 100% pass completion yesterday. This shows he is improving.

Joe Hart Is not ready to lose his place as the English number one keeper.

Guardiola hammered on Joe Hart learning and becoming the best keeper in the world if he improves on his passing. Unfortunately, BIG Sam is not ready to have patience with Guardiola.

If you think of the Successful Spanish side with key players like Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, Puyol, Valdes being from the Guardiola Barcelona team. In Germany, we had Lahm, Muller, Neuer, Gotze, Boateng, from the Guardiola Bayern side.

Big Sam should have kept Joe Hart in the side and watch the development of the likes of Delph, Sterling, Hart and possibly Tosin to build a cohesive English side.

From the look of it, PEP plans to switch Gundogan to a ten. Nolito is at risk and at most a squad player. Silva, Gundogan Fernandinho will make the midfield trident. Aguero, Sterling and De Bruyne will attack.

Frightening when you think of Sane coming in. De Bruyne might drop for Sane.

Bravo To Continue His Success At City

Manchester City announced the signing of the brilliant stopper, Claudio Bravo from Barcelona. The Cityzens wanted him earlier but the Catalan club did not want to let him go without securing the services of another quality keeper.

This changed when Barcelona completed the capture of Cillessen. The Dutch keeper of Ajax Amsterdam.

Manchester City confirmed the £15.3m signing of Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo. which could rise to £17m with add-ons.

Claudio Bravo joining Manchester City is a big addition to the English club and he will move into the starting line-up. He is to make his debut against West Ham United on Sunday.

Manchester Evening News reported that Claudio Bravo said, he is proud to join Manchester City. He knows we are building something special here and he hopes to play a part in the success of the club. Bravo added that Guardiola played a part in making him leave a special club like Barcelona to join Manchester City.

Claudio Bravo is a decorated Keeper who won promotion with Real Sociedad. He won two League titles, two Copa Del Rey titles and a Champions League with Barcelona. He was also voted as the best keeper in the Copa America twice.

He was part of the La Liga team of the season in 2014-2015 and won a League title in Chile with Colo-Colo.

Definitely a trusted keeper. One who Guardiola could not hide his admiration.

Manchester Evening News reported that Guardiola said Claudio Bravo is a goal keeper he admired for years. An experienced keeper with great leadership qualities.

We welcome Claudio Bravo to this great club and we hope his success continues with us.

Players Left Out By Guardiola Could Still Contribute To The Team

Players like Samir Nasri, Wilfried Bony And Eliaquim Mangala are yet to play a game for Manchester City this season. After Manchester City played four games and won the four of them, these men seem out of favor with the Guardiola.

Yaya Toure and Joe Hart played in the Second leg of the Champions League playoff. This was after Manchester City won the first leg 5-0. This was a dead rubber game and these two may not play regularly for Manchester City

Even though it looks as if there is no chance for these players keeping regular places with the team, Guardiola's recent statement suggest that these men still have roles to play in the title challenges the club is embarking on.

Manchester Evening News reported that Guardiola said that even though he does not have experience of the demands of coaching an English Premier League side, he knows that Manchester City will play a lot of games. He also understands how physical the English Premier League is and knows he needs a large squad to cope with the challenges of the season.

Gabriel Jesus, Ilkay Gundogan, Claudio Bravo are yet to take part in any game with the team but Guardiola's statement means that he might need the services of the players who seem out of favor to help the club cope with the games this season.

Those players who will not secure deals out of the Etihad could still play for Manchester City.

Manchester City's Encounter With Barcelona Will Show How Strong We Are

Manchester City is in the same group in the Champions League with Barcelona. One of the strongest teams in Europe in recent years. They played a beautiful brand of football over the years, dominated the Spanish League and Champions League.

Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City coach was a big part of Barcelona and leading us to face his boyhood team will prove an emotional reunion.

He had a special bond with most of the players there, including Messi who is one of the best players in the history of the game.

The Executives of the club handed Manchester City to Pep Guardiola to lead the team to become one of the best in the game.

There is no better test than to face Barcelona. Barcelona will show if we are ready to become one of the elites in the game.

There is excitement about the refreshing way we play since Guardiola took over and this seems like a time for Manchester City to prove ourselves against one of the best in the game.

This is a test we tried and failed in the past after Barcelona knocked us out of the Champions League twice in recent years. Barcelona also knocked out Bayern Munich in the Champions League on their way to lifting the trophy under Luis Enrique.

Guardiola came to the English Premier League to prove himself and putting up a good performance will go a long gone way in proving Guardiola's credibility as one of the best coaches in the football and it will also prove that Manchester City is on its way to become one of the top teams in Europe.

Manchester City announced they completed the signing of the brilliant Barcelona Keeper, Claudio Bravo. This means Joe Hart will drop from the second keeper to the third keeper of Manchester City. This is something that is unfamiliar to the English number one keeper and it is almost certain that Joe Hart Is on his way out of Manchester City.

Manchester Evening News reported that Txiki Bergiristain is working with Joe Hart to secure a good club for him. The members of the club are handling Joe Hart's situation with care and respect. Something Joe Hart deserves because he is a big part of how far City has come since the take over by Sheikh Mansour.

Joe Hart's emotional good-bye in the second leg of the Champions League playoff against Steaua Bucharest was heart-felt. The Manchester City Fans showed their love and loyalty to the Goalkeeper by chanting they did not want the club to sell Joe Hart.

Manchester Evening News reported that Claudio Bravo will not start in the Manchester City vs West Ham United match on Sunday.
Guardiola said Claudio Bravo is fit but he will not play this weekend. This means that the Manchester City Fans will wait for the Manchester Derby to see the new keeper rated highly by the new City Boss.

Claudio Bravo is a keeper with experience, part of the rise of the Chilean National team and he was part of the recent success of Barcelona. He is good at distributing the ball during build-up plays and he is quick off his line to help the defence when under pressure.

Interesting time lies ahead as we witness the changes going on in the club under Pep Guardiola.

And it gets tougher as the season goes. I hope the lads can cope with it. What is important is our players learning how to keep possession. It is what will prove if we do very well this season or not.

When we keep possession, the runs are less and the players are relaxed. Keeping the ball will also help us in carrying out our attacks to win games.

So I hope the Boss carries out more passing drills.

I see fitness of players as important as tactics. If we can keep the boys fit, the depth we have can cope with the pressure.

We also have the young players like Maffeo, Angelino, Adarabioyo, Aleix Garcia and Manu Garcia who are brilliant players. These increases the depth of the team.

Manchester City Has To Maintain Our Momentum Against West Ham

Last season, West Ham United slowed the promising start of Manchester City. We won five games in five before we lost to West Ham. This is something Guardiola and his coaching crew will work to avoid.

The loss to West Ham last season was the beginning of the fall of Manchester City. We finished a disappointing fourth in the English Premier League. A scenario we do not want to repeat. So we need to keep up our great team play. We need the players to stick to the plan that got us to win all of our first four games this season.

We have an edge over West Ham because they played a tough UEFA Europa League game against Astra Giurgiu, which West Ham lost 1-0.

We will see if Joe Hart gets to start his first English Premier League game after Guardiola confirmed that Claudio Bravo, the New Manchester City keeper will not start this game.

Willy Caballero started the other English Premier League matches and it seems he might continue in the post in this game. Pep Guardiola rates Willy Caballero higher than Joe Hart when it comes to ball distribution from the back. This is a key part of Guardiola's possession-heavy style.

Joe Hart had a hundred percent pass completion rate in the last game against Steaua Bucharest. Joe Hart completed a perfect 16 out of 16 passes. It might convince the Manchester City Boss to give the English number one keeper a chance.

Stones will likely start after a good display against Steaua Bucharest. He played with finesse and got a big standing ovation after Guardiola substituted him.

Kolarov also played well in the same game. He added muscle to the finesse display of Stones. We will see if Sterling can continue his blistering form. A player who improved since the former Barcelona Boss took over Manchester City. We also hope Aguero maintains his goal scoring rate.

We hope the team settles from here after Guardiola revealed no other player will arrive the Etihad in this transfer window.
