The announcement of austerity measures and the devaluation of Naira may have finally take toll on the prices of cements.
This to some analyst doesn’t come as a surprise as many had long predicted it.



A visit by SPY Nigeria correspondence to Part of Ogun and Lagos early this morning, 29/08/2016, shows that the price of elephant cement that used to be sold at N1,550 as skyrocketed to N2,300. While Dangote that used to be sold at N1,450, N1,500 respectively as also skyrocketed to N2,200.

Reason for the sudden hike cannot be ascertained as at the time of filling this.
