A modern Printing Firm Located at Yaba, Lagos is looking for an Accounts officer:

The job functions include:

Accounts Officer

A. Accounts Receivable Function

Daily/periodic Invoicing – process invoices for relevant departments upon receipt of relevant invoice request

Receipt of member/customer payments – process cheque payments, credit card transactions and direct deposits

Daily banking – cheques and cash

Processing monthly journals

Communicate with staff/members/customers regarding invoicing and payment of invoices

B. Accounts Payable Function

Processing of creditors invoices

Raising of payments ensuring proper authorisations – via cheque and electronic funds transfer

Manage and reconcile office petty cash

Communicate with creditors regarding outstanding accounts and payment of outstanding accounts

C. Administrative Functions
Photocopying/Printing and collating paperwork, Filing paperwork and Management of filing system

D. Payroll Function
Assist the Financial Controller where required with the processing of payroll transactions

E. Compliance Activities

Assist Financial Controller where required with compliance regime with regards to PAYE, Withholding, VAT,e.t.c

F. Other tasks as instructed by the Financial Controller

Interested person must:

- Posses at least OND in accounting
- Be a student memeber of ICAN
- Have at least 1 year experience
- Be familiar with MS Office application (Knowledge of Accounting Software will be an added advantage)
- Have passion for details
- Resides within the mainland

Salary: N40,000 only
