Lolz, according to some video clips I watched on youtube, American will say 'God Bless You' or 'Bless You' when somebody sneezes near them but I don't know if we Nigerians give such or similar responds when someone sneezes near us. A muslim will say 'yarhamuk Allaah' according to a site. I say 'My life oooo' and I will be like 'who is calling my name?, maybe in a shrine?' So, whats the right thing to say when you sneeze? Whats the meaning? |

As a muslim, what u actually saw was what islam teaches. The person that sneeze say Alhamdulillah(thank God) while his/her neighbor at the moment say YARHAMUK ALLAH(May God Bless you) to the sneezer. In actual fact, it is scientifically proven that u sneeze to avoid bacteria or micro organisms from enterin ur systen thru ur nostrils and so the need to say Alhamdulillah. My take |
