Owing to recent happenings in the construction industry, The likes of building collapses, Fraudulent activities, Earth quakes amidst others. In Europian countries, hardly will you hear a news of building collapse, but it is the order of the week here in Nigeria. That is why i want intelligent views from Everybody, Not only Civil Engineers. What is the way forward?

I pondered on this with my Indian friend, we thought information should be the reason, we came up with a website to inform everybody on the Latest innovations in the civil engineering world. By now technologies to detect building collapses, structural defects and upcoming Earthquake issues should be employed by our site engineers. Don't be left out in new developments, register and be an active member of the Civil Engineering informer community. Together we can change the world.

Good day Victor, a lot of opportunity awaits you in the real world, ranging from graduate trainee programs, and even graduate jobs both private and federal. Even If you are willing to work outside the country especially in India, where Civil Engineering is an hot cake every govermemt organization is looking for.

I am Michael, a young talented Civil/Structural Engineer. I have more than 3years work experience in Building Foundation/ Highway construction/ Structural Design and Estimation works. As for the way forward, I think proper quality control is not being put into practice. Clients are interested in contractors that will complete a bulky project under 24 hours. Consequently, this results in corruption and jumping of protocols by contractors. The result of this is a big threat to public safety while the contractors' reputation are also at risk. I observed all these when I worked as a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Engineer in a big construction site. Thank you.
